Ebner looks chiseled. Awesome sport.

I don't know the game well and this is actually the first I've ever seen, but I thought Ebner played well. I was unaware there were power plays lol. Cool game to watch.

That's it. USA WINS 26-0! Fiji at 12:30 tomorrow.

26-0, what a beatdown.

Is Ebner wearing #12 for Brady?

The guy at NBC talking about the Patriots organization and the whole story.

I've watched rugby before ... it was okay but did not impress me at all. This game seemed much more exciting to me and I like it much better. Funny thing is I am a big soccer fan and I relate this to the casual soccer fans rational for soccer is boring ... not enough scoring. So to any real fans of rugby in this forum ... do you like the 7's or does it seem like a gimmick compared to traditional rugby?

I assumed he was, would be pretty awesome for that to be confirmed though. Has he always worn 12?

****. Carlin Isles is freaking fast. Nice try.

I thought the same thing, he's fast and he has a pretty solid build too despite his tiny size. I was shocked to see he only weighs 165, because he doesn't look like a solid hit would break him in half or anything. Just looked into it a bit, and apparently he had a tryout with the Lions in 2014. With his speed, wouldn't be shocked if he gets another look: Speedy Carlin Isles embraces his chance in rugby

Apparently Perry Baker came out of the Arena League and just picked up rugby a couple years ago. Between Ebner, Isles and Baker I wonder if we could have a really, really good team if we stocked the roster with NFL gunners.

Was that an impressive win for us, like was that expected to be a close game? I have no idea about expectations or skill lvl of either squad.

My favorite part of this was to listen to the announcer struggle with Ebner's status.

Ebner is a former patriot who the Patriots released, who was just learning Rugby who also got his start with Rugby who is still with the Patriots who won a Super Bowl Trophy Ring. Also he's still a Patriot.

I like the 7s more because of how fast it moves. Also the refs don't tolerate wasting any time, even if it's to kick their own goal. Some folks like the 15s better but the 7s are much more loose and individual playmaking is encouraged.

He was wearing #1 in April.

I might have found a new 2nd favorite sport. This is fun as hell.
