I know one player who doesn't belong...his initials are MC. And I'm not talking about Mariah Carey....

Sadly enough, I actually had to think about this one for a full minute or so. I must be tired.

Preferably he's the starting tackle of the Team we face in the AFC Championship Or Superbowl.

Seeing how many people show up to these camps...is staggering. The demand to see this team is sky high and you could see it last night. Go to any other NFL camp...not even half the people at some.

All about the Patriots in MA and NE

I hear you. I'm looking forward to seeing a 3TE set, with Gronk/Bennett on the outside, Edelman and the 3rd TE on the inside, and a shifty back (i.e. a healthy Lewis) coming out of the backfield.
That'll be incredibly hard to stop. In the redzone, I'm all for using that package a ton. You have 4 legit pass targets, and plenty to run a draw. you don't need blount to run between the tackles if we have lewis imo. he's shown great toughness in the red zone.
wait...youse guys were there tonight?

and you didn't say hello to ME??

disappointed....

also, the program had Bennett listed as 83...I coulda sworn he was wearing 88...a rookie had 83 on...
They had this when I was there on Saturday, too. Luckily I learned my lesson then and was good to go for last night

Apparently Bennet switched to 88 in order to be closer to gronk lol. not sure exactly how true that is, but he did switch to 88.

i think he switched with harbor...?

These camp reports are making me feel like a kid on christmas morning.....i hope I'm not the only one who seen this.

I recommend everyone listen to this. Perfect analysis from Pat here. Around 8 and a half minutes of the best talk I've heard from an analyst. I can't help but get giddy when he compared what he saw from Cy Jones to Tyler Lockett in terms of return ability. That alone is exciting. Again, listen to this podcast people, you won't regret it.

Speaking of MMQB, I know there are some folks here who are not fans, but still it's useful to see how the rest of the world is looking at the Patriots. Several parts of Peter King's column describe his camp visit, and one of their new writers gives a fresh look from the perspective of a newcomer.

Great listen for sure and it was nice to hear some more positivity about the young guards, JT and TK. I'm removing interior Oline from my list of concerns (yep alert the media). This leaves that damn 3rd tackle, who will nearly certainly see meaningful playing time given Solder and Vollmer's health, and to a lesser extent DE/LB depth if Long/McClellin don't start showing up (tough to tell given minimal contact thus far). I would think one or two guys between those, Flowers, and R Johnson, will step up and make an impact this year.

All that hate about some players. i dont understand it.
No one remembers when MC replace Vollmer and he was really solid and Scar was Oline coach.
And this Dobson stuff, give me a break. If he wont be able to stay healthy than he is bust like Ras i Downling. He has one season more to prove, like Ras i had.
Last year Scott Chandler hate. Even after the report that he had injury in preseason, some haters still posted how he sucked. Haters gona hate.

He very well may not have it. I don't think he does but you hate to give up on a young player who has been here for going on 4 years now. Clearly BB is hopeful he can contribute but there is no question he has put Dropson on notice.

To me, there is no denying that he has the ability and physical tools to play at this level and do some good things out on the football field. However, being prone to injuries to his feet, inconsistent and not playing special teams kills his value to the club. If hes not a playmaker then hes subject to being in the pressbox on gameday.

If the guy can haul in 2 catches and 30 yards a game as the 4th WR that'll put him at 36/480. I'd take that from a WR4 any day of the week. I think he is capable of it but for 3 years clearly has not done so for multiple reasons.

Especially if those yards result in stretching the defense.

Respect, Mihap. But one decent season does not a career make. Cannon has been atrocious for two whole seasons now. Yes, Scar is back. But, c'mon, he was also the coach when the Giants destroyed Brady in '07 and the Broncos in '13, my point being even his greatness doesn't cover every flaw. I mean, do you forget how to play your position just because your position coach leaves? That quickly? Maybe he does fix Cannon, but I still would rather not see him on the field. That's not hate. It's reality with a 39 year old QB.

Dobson, I said I would not touch that subject anymore, so I won't. Feel free to root for him if you'd like.

And Scott Chandler did suck but for an understandable reason. And no, the injury story did not break in the preseason. It actually did not surface until the Pats season was over. Let's not revise history. Or maybe you're saying he was injured in the preseason. I don't recall seeing many post much negative about him after the story broke that he was injured, but I could be wrong about that. Anyway, I do wish him the best.

Only about 30-35% of all second round picks become starting caliber players. Dobson was the 27th pick of the second round, yet you refer to him as a bust? I would say he is playing as well as the other 65-70% of second round picks who aren't starters.

There was still negativity after the story broke from some posters.
And Amendola hate. Some people dont have luck with injuries in their life and others are terminators like Rob Ninkovich. Even when Gronk was injured there was lot of ...injury prone, bust...words.
I have nothing against Jake Bequette critisism, cause he really sucked, but who keep him on the roster.

Look i dont post much, but i read everything about pats related on this forum, and i really want everyone to be successfull after deflategate nonsense.
