Ben Affleck Goes off about Deflategate.

So Ben Affleck was on Ben Simmons' HBO show and he just went off about Deflategate and how stupid it was and now the chumps at TMZ, I'm sure the rest of the media will be joining them shortly, are criticizing his slurring and his red face, insinuating that he is drunk. Sad.

My exact first thought. It's like when they were asking guys if they could tell the difference between a 12.5 psi ball and 10.5 psi ball...but none asked if they could tell the difference between a 11.3 psi ball and 11.2 psi ball, which is what the accusation actually is.

I know the 8% thing is off but Ben's last line killed me - Haven't done **** about the rampant domestic violence in the league but if the Fukn football is 8% lighter by the 2nd half you're gone for a quarter of the season.

I didn't stop to do the math myself before posting but I assume his %8 is not considering IGL. I think he's just saying the balls were around %8 under the rule.

He obviously then should have mentioned IGL easily accounts for %7 and a multitude of other variances could account for the last %1.

To be honest, I never liked Simmons and resent that he has deemed himself the spokesman for Boston fans. He's a jackass.

I don't think Kraft's problem is not drinking enough.

Afflack is one of those actors that I really want to like.....but can't. Handful of good movies but a lot of sucky ones. Totally gummed up Batman screwing up what Nolan and Bale built. Besides, any man who cheats on Jenny Garner and the 3 kids w a nanny is a complete doosh.

I like him. He's far from perfect, but at least he tries, and often succeeds, at defending Boston and its teams. Pissing off ESPN to the point of getting fired is clearly a plus, at least in my book. Finally, anyone who calls out Fatf### Ordway for the fraud he is will be more than acceptable. Many, many worse than Simmons nationally.

Sure, he's had a few good moments but, in the totality, he's more of an embarrassment than a credit to our fan base. IMO
