ESPN Removes Game 6 (Schilling Bloody Sock) from Sox Documentary

Society can consider her whatever they please, but at the end of the day if she has to pee, she can use the bathroom that corresponds to her outward appearance. We are not talking special privileges, like a scholarship based on her self-identification, just the right to urinate in peace.

Society, however it classifies transgenders (and this could really get complicated), should not be able to tell someone that genuinely lives their life as a woman that they have to go through the shameful (and potentially dangerous) experience of using a men's bathroom while made up as a woman.
I didn't even post anything about transgender people. I said the Caucasian woman that said she identified with African Americans and actually said she was African American will never be considered African American.

In my opinion, how someone feels doesn't determine who or what they are. And my point is, it's totally ok to have that opinion. I'm not trying to belittle anyone here. Just stating my opinion

But that particular woman had some major issues

Likely only to Patriot fans because there is absolutely no doubt that there has been a wide-spread anti-Patriot agenda there. I've heard Reiss and Bruschi obliquely acknowledge its existence, despite being currently employed there.

Ditto that. When I went to a Reiss/Brown booksigning when Troy's book came out I said to Mike as he was signing my book "I know you can't say anything, but I and plenty of others would like to see you in a place that deserves you." He give me a wry grin and then replied "But where else is there?" and then intimated he thought ESPN was being ridiculous.

Caitlyn Jenner is certainly not a hero.

Apparently some people see Caitlyn Jenner as a hero. I see Caitlyn Jenner as a mentally unstable individual with some odd desire to go from being a man to looking like an ugly woman (or an ersatz version of a woman). . . but I seem to be in the minority and, according to some posters, a terrible person for thinking this way.

Religious conservatives think the same thing about gays. They even have schools and camps that aim to "fix" this "mental defect." You should consider the possibility that the "mental instability" that motivates the gender conversion has its origins not in real mental illness but in the pain that comes from feeling prevented or fearing repercussions from expressing what you feel to be your true self. I'm not saying that is the case. Maybe they are all nuts. But, I think the verdict is out on that, from a scientific perspective.

But society has the last word on people like this. Actually, her poor parents had the last word

What someone identified as sometimes doesn't mean anything.

Parents out 'black' NAACP leader as white woman

Looking at the higher suicide rates for post op transsexuals as opposed to pre-ops, I remain skeptical about whether the surgery actually helps them or whether we're just enabling destructive behavior by calling it "heroic."

This thread appears to have run its course -- now pretty far afield from the adolescent Schilling/basebull/Bankofamericasox/BSPN.

The intended effect of this hate- and religion-based view is not to protect little girls using the toilet but to curry favor with old, out of touch bigots residing in a very backward part of the country, who adhere to a religion conceived in a very backward part of the World in a most backward time in human history. They are certainly free to believe in whatever nonsense they please, but rest assured, their way of thinking has already been virtually eradicated from the intellectual capitals of the Western World and it is only a matter of time (the sooner the better) before it is snuffed out in the hillbilly's (and Schillbilly's) own backyard.

This is quite possibly the worst post I have read on this site, ever.

I vehemently disagree with every phrase in every sentence in it.

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.

Hmmm....

Should I move this thread to the Red Sox Forum, or Political Discussion?

Herm did say that nothing good happens after midnight, so here goes nothing....

what a bunch of liberal verbal diarrhea. its a common sense issue. penis this way and vagina that way. and that's it. if that makes me backwoods. or a hillbilly in your mind then so be it. the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Yes, the law in NC was proposed to seek the political favor of people precisely like you. The latest in a recent line of desperate attempts to prop up a dead political party that has no compelling platform and caters to the hate and fear of an ever shrinking group of ignoramuses.
