NFL demands retraction of Times article on player concussions

Well if the NFL wants to appeal the findings of the NY Times piece they are more than welcome to. The NY Times will offer a hearing and do its own investigation and then decide if it should stick to the article after hearing the NFL out after which there will of course be no other arbitration or appeal process.

Good luck NFL (in a sarcastic way). The toughest thing to do is to fight the Press!

The NFL seems flabbergasted as to what to do, they're too used to the media slobbering all over them and fighting for their table scraps.

These A holes really think they can do anything they want to. Hey NFL, how's it feel to want. F U

What motivates the NFL owners? Integrity? No. Money.

What is motivating the NYT to print on CTE? Money.

Capitalism at work.

The NFL feels its being treated unfairly, says that the NYT is making assumptions based on nothing but circumstantial evidence, has posted a long rebuttal to the accusations on their own website, and wants justice for having its reputation dragged through the mud?

This is a F'ing joke, right?

It's great watching the NFL pivot to righteous indignation, claiming that someone else is slandering them with innuendo and accusations that are allegedly not 100% founded in irrefutable scientific fact. I wonder if they realize how hypocritical they are.
