Patriots sign WR Chris Hogan

I'd really like to get Anquan Boldin, even if 1-year. He is desperate to get to the super bowl, so he will not break the bank. He is very good at jump balls.

And I'd be happy with that, if he signed a deal that was cap friendly should he already be well past his prime. I just don't think it makes sense to use Amendola's cap savings to do so. I'd rather have 'em both in camp, and that won't be expensive if Boldin isn't.

Maybe if Amendola restructures his deal. Then, dump or trade Aaron Dobson. Yes this saves about 1million. But, I think the Dobson experiment has long past (as was Boyce).

Boldin has veteran experience, sure hands, X-receiver and is a smart WR.

A stretch the field receiver is a decent regular season concept ... a useless commodity in the playoffs.

That is a wrong statement if the vertical receiver is good. It's not just about what they do but the opportunities they open up for others. If a team has to respect a vertical receiver that opens up things for others underneath.

Boldin no longer has the speed to be an X receiver. He's a slot guy now and not much else..

I'd rather have a guy that fights for the ball than a burner with stone hands

Why would Bolden be desperate to get to the Super Bowl? He has been to two and won one. Where is the desperation?

And that has what, exactly, to do with the fact that Boldin is almost exclusively an inside receiver?

...and who does he work for?

He does have some size on him. Interested to see how he will be used. So far it's DA,Jules, Martin and Hogan.

Not sure, no mention of non gmo, cage free, range free, organic etc....
I saw he was eating beans in his turkey chili another picture, for shame! Brady would be most displeased!

We need someone that can really scout wrs well. Not in love with what we have on the outside right now.

Makes you wonder. What do the scouts look for? Guys like Roddy White whining about route trees apparently wouldn't work here and who would know? Maybe the scouts? Or if after all these years they don't change, then maybe they feel what they are doing is good?

If not, then I'd find who the scouts are for Pitt and hire them away. Pay them whatever since it doesn't count towards to cap anyhow.

It appears his body can withstand a little DDT.....besides, he's not wearing uggs and doesn't have a man-purse

WR diet != QB diet != GRONK diet
