Cook over Chandler?

he has got the ball thrown his way a lot with the rams and his stats are still not great he catches just over 50% of the balls thrown his way. not really what you want from a back up who will not see the ball to much

How much of that was a result of being fed the ball by the likes of Austin Davis, Shaun Hill, Case Keenum, Nick Foles, and a scared Sam Bradford?

i agree he has played with bad QB's and maybe Brady turns him into a star or at lest a good backup but the guy has been in the NFL for 8 seasons and has been noting more then average. his worth a look at a cheap price but IMO his Scott Chandler 2.0

Id give chandler another chance

Unless they get Martellus, I wouldn't mind giving Chandler another year while the team drafts a late round te.

I don't think Chandler is the long term answer, but I wouldn't just flat out cut him unless we had another veteran TE coming in to take his place on the roster, combined with another rookie in the draft. I don't want Gronk and then a bunch of inexperienced rookies..

If they cant get another veteran TE, then Chandler needs to stay until they can develop a solid backup thru the draft or FA. Hopefully Derby and some others can compete for that backup spot in training camp

Is Jared Cook even an upgrade over Chandler? Both have stone hands, I don't know who the better blocker is.

Cook would be a perfect veteran. Big, solid blocker, good hands. He would be a good compliment to Gronk

Just draft Tyler Higbee and be done with it.

Edit; I forgot Cook's dumbfoundingly poor QB crew from his days in Tennessee. haha
