Like most here, I am hoping the Panthers beat the Broncos in the SB. However, I admit that if Carolina had gone 16-0, I'd be pulling for Denver, because I wouldn't want them to accomplish what we failed to do (go 16-0 and win a SB). As it is, we still have some claim to fame (only 16-0 team). I'm a bit embarrassed that this makes me sound like the old Dolphins, but I'm curious as to how others feel. Anyone with me?

What an interesting question.

Good grief. I don't know.

I guess I would.

A co-worker asked me this very question yesterday, and to be honest I'd still be rooting for Carolina.

But.....I would be a little more indifferent on the outcome (while now I'm 100% anti-Broncos).

As far as Carolina going undefeated, it wouldn't bother me as much as it should. They are not a rival of ours so I wouldnt' be too dismayed by them accomplishing this feat.

Let me phrase it this way.........if there was a team that went 19-0, I would want it to be a team like the Panthers, Cardinals, or even Browns......a team that has not established themselves as a rival of the Pats. Now if it was the Colts, Broncos, Steelers, or Jets I'd want to throw up.

No. I hate the Broncos, their fans, and Manning too much. And the media will be on and on how Manning is now in discussion for GOAT. Just no. I would take a 19-0 Panthers over another ring for Manning.

If hitler showed up with the cure for cancer, would you let him leave alive?

I think Panthers as well. If they go 19-0 that would piss off two hated enemies, the Dolphins and Broncos.

It's like a two for one special.

Panthers. As much as I would be jelly, I have no disdain for their franchise outside of our game a few years ago. Rather Peyton be 1-3 in SB's.

That's like being asked "hey, would you sleep with your sister?" You'd say no f***ing way! But then they ask "okay but what if I gave you a zillion dollars, would you sleep with your sister?" It's still a big fat NO because it's wrong.

Rooting for Peyton is like sleeping with your sister, essentially. I'm pretty sure it's one of the Ten Commandments... Thou shalt not support Forehead Omaha.

Why would I care if CAR goes undefeated? If it means Peyton doesn't get #2, I'll root for anyone

The only teams I never want to see go 19-0 are Jets,Dolphins,Bills,Colts,Steelers and Broncos. The rest good for them if they ever do it!

Hard saying not knowing, thankfully I don't have to answer. Go Panthers.

No! I would never root for Denver. I've been watching Denver beat up the Patriots since I started watching football in the 80's. And I think it would be cool to see a team pull off 19-0 and shut up the Dolphins. Just because NE failed to do it doesn't mean I want another team to fail.

if manning wins, espn will start saying mannings the GOAT despite brady and montana having 4 rings.

I would never root for Denver or Manning to win a Super Bowl. **** Denver.

I don't particularly like Cam but the Panthers having the 19-0 season would have been more acceptable than the Donks winning the Super Bowl.
