Week 17 Practice Update: Ninkovich and Freeny Return

Clearly Belichick thinks that the Patriots playing with all these guys hurt in the playoffs is more of a risk than possibly playing at Denver - factoring in that we're probably 50-50 to win against Miami anyway.

As much as I hate that it could cost us a win, we have to get Hightower, etc, right. Or as right as possible. Hopefully the Chandler toe thing that just came up is precautionary.

Wow that's 6 inactives (potentially 7 if Ninkovich didn't make the trip) and it's still Friday.

The Patriots have 17 players on IR/PUP/NFI and then 15 players that are currently on the injury list. That's insane

The point is that it appears Bill would prefer to play at Denver with a more healthy team than at Gillette with Hightower, et al, limping around. When you factor in the chance of us winning this week anyway combined with the chance of Denver losing in the Divisional Round it's probably our best odds though obviously not optimal.

Well how healthy and effective will they be? You just don't know. This' s a very calculated move by BB. I hate denver. I want no part of that

Funny you should say that, I just received an email from BB and apparently I was the lucky PatsFans poster selected.

I can play for the Pats tomorrow if I can get to Miami by 10:00 AM tomorrow.

Unfortunately I am nursing an injury too. Anyone want to go in my place?
