On to Miami

After watching Vollmer bite the dust today, I'm of the opinion of playing the important starters - Brady, Gronk, Amendola, Edelman, etc a couple of series if at all. This team badly needs a couple of weeks to get healthy. They already locked up the bye and may even be able to beat Miami with mostly back-ups anyway. They just cannot afford to lose any more starters to injury.

lolphins will get a heavy dose of Steven Jackson

Im done with the Jets loss.

Being a must win, do you guys think Jules and Dola will be active if they are good to go? I'm sure Miami would love to upset our seeding, unless they have already packed it in. I just want the W and NO injuries.

Pending tomorrow night, of course.

Edelman, no, Danny, possibly.

We can beat Miami with the team we fielded today. Jets are a tougher out than Miami (still don't take the Jets seriously though).

So I would sit Danny personally. I'd sit Gronk and activate Chandler. Bolden had a decent game as well, may want to sit him too

May happen again this year after what I saw today
Not likely. I know we're all upset over the lost but the Patriots lack of starters out there forces their hand tremendously. A healthy Patriots team wins in New Jersey. It's no guarantee that our offense goes back to early season success, primarily because Lewis and Solder are gone and Edelman won't be 100% until the offseason. However, I do believe that we would see a Patriots team that executes better on offense and defense. Special teams play seems to have regressed, however.

All in all, I'm not too worried about the loss. I hate losses, especially when we are conservative throughout the game, but we had very little choice today.

I am sorry but i would play edelman if he can give it a go. I don't care it's 20 snaps. I just wanna see some cohesiveness with the offense. Everyone's expecting this offense to click just like that in the playoffs after edelman has been gone for awhile. I would play martin and sit lafell. Lafell has been a huge dissapointment.

Reminds me of overreactions to losing preseason games when half our starters aren't in the game. Seriously, do you really believe the mish-mash team we fielded today allows you to come to that conclusion?

I guess I am more upset about the end of the first half. 30 secs and 2 time outs is enough to get into FG position. To me that was a no balls call to just run the half out. OT is on BB. We no doubt want Denver to win tomorrow because I don't see them or Cinci losing their last games. Not sure us winning against Miami is a lock with our depleted O and our shaky history down in Miami.

my only issue with resign next week is that we have no momentum or rhythm. the confidence helps a lot come playoff time. we need a nice solid game in Mia to give the team something to work off of going into the playoffs...

How many snaps did you see Dola take or Edelman? How many tackles did Chung have or McCourty?

Nothing pending tomorrow, either team wins they have a shot at #1.

Well, if you meant for HFA, yes that's true. I was just thinking bye-wise.

But I do agree, no reason to let off the gas.

If it makes anyone feel any better the 2012 Ravens looked DEAD at the end of the regular season. They lost their last 3 out of 4 and choked away their bye week to us. And then they won the Super Bowl.

Even with a healthy pats team i think the
jests can make the game interesting. The jests have a physical d line. I am still hoping the stoolers get in
