I know this is a memory we all (myself included) would like to forget, but I still feel like I should point out the crazy eeriness to the Giant/Panthers game yesterday.
The still undefeated Panthers obviously won, 38-35. If you were thinking you've seen this before, it's because you have.
In 2007, the Patriots defeated the Giants 38-35 to remain undefeated.
In 2011, the Packers defeated the Giants 38-35 to remain undefeated (Packers would later lose to the Chiefs for an overall record of 15-1).
The Giants were playing undefeated teams late in the season, all games lost by the exact same score. Obviously we know how the first two times played out. I'll be sick if the Giants somehow manage to find a way in.
