Its a message board about the Patriots and news regarding them. The guy is in the media and talks about them for a living. I am not furthering his career by saying he is a douche bag on an internet forum.

Tanguay is a pathetic sack of sh.t. Once he finally realized his career is headed south at warp speed he decided that he would try to emulate Borges and Felger and he went right after Brady knowing his lies would seriously piss off Patriot fans. The problem for Tanguay however is that he is simply too stupid to be a contrarian and he ends up just looking like the complete moron that he truly is. I shut the radio or TV off any time he is on and gave up watching Patriots Wednesday because he hosts it. He's a b!tch, period.

The existence of this thread is effectively feeding the troll that is Gary Tanguay. Tanguay is trying to play the contrarian, but isn't smart enough to do it effectively. If he was born with a regular voice, he'd be working at a K-Mart.

I think Gary Tanguay is doing whatever he needs to do to feed his family. Being a good guy on radio and TV didn't worked out for him (got fired from "Zo and Tanuay" and Patriots post games shows). So he is filling in the Ahole role to get some work.

Because the Jetsfan who runs WEEI insists on putting him on as many shows as possible to piss off as many Patriot fans as possible, which results in many of us having to turn off the radio and TV on a really frequent basis.

I disagree. To be a really effective contrarian and troll you have to be impervious to criticism and really not give a sh.t what people think of you, but that's not Tanguay. Tanguay is really thin skinned and I think he hates being the villain and people hating his guts, and by every account he has become completely miserable since he went down this road. According to ****erson, who knows him really well, he's never seen him so unhappy. Unlike Borges and Felger, who relish being hated and have no problem making their living off it I think Tanguay hates being hated and it bothers him when people sh.t all over him. So while I think that people have a point about ignoring the contrarian to diminish their ratings I think Tanguay is the exception because it truly bothers him that everyone hates his guts.

Your posting of the link has increased the number of clicks he would have gotten and generated more conversation about it here at Pats fan. Positive, negative or sarcastic can all be part of buzz. You can criticize the opinion that I expressed, but he logic is sound. You helped create more buzz for Gary Tanguay no matter how you try to spin it.
