I don't know how many of these injured guys we can keep who can't play and can't be put on an exempt list, and still field a team.

1st 3 years comparison:

Edelman: Rec-48 yds - 479 TD - 1
Dobson; Rec - 53 Yds - 698 TD - 4 (Including Dr. Gill's screw ups)

Gotta love the kneejerks.

Half of Edelman's first three years were spent as either as 3rd-4th stringer WR, or a cornerback.... the stat you posted is useless.

.....so Dobson was a starter for half of HIS three years?

Gee, Danny I never knew that!

OK everyone, let's stick to the Dobson topic without going off topic into the gender war at this point. Thanks!

"I'm sorry, Mr. Kotter."

He looked like he'd been shot in a war zone.

Not really, if you've ever been in a war zone. Not his fault but he does seem to be one fragile guy, though.

I'm just sayin', I still believe in Dobson. I've seen him get open a bunch of times this year, it just didn't come together yet. Brady appears to trust and believe in him. I want to keep him at least through his rookie contract.

Amen, Brother!!!! The Pats have 4 small quick WRs and only 2 with size., and deep ability, La Fell and Dobson. We need him.

^ Interesting numbers. The thing is we just don't want to wait any longer for Dobson to 'breakout'

I'd like to be a fly on the wall when some of these uber-macho posters suffer a leg cramp.
I am into extreme sports and have multiple fractures to show for it. Dobson's reaction gave me the impression that it was a broken bone or Achilles completely thorn. They carried him like they carried Suggs and Steve Smith.

My guess is that it hurt a lot and they were being cautious. You don't have to have a serious injury to feel serious short-term pain.
