That's every team every week. The losing team usually doesn't play well, either on their own accord or because the opposing team forces bad play.

All he really stated is that the Jets aren't approaching this game as their Super Bowl. He's saying that, instead, this is just another game and they all expect to win. What kind of team would you expect to go into a game publicly stating they were going to lose? I know I wouldn't want to root for a team like that.

I hate the Jets as much as anyone here. Probably more than everyone here except for Joker and Tunescribe. But this is no guarantee of victory.

Just proves that there is nothing a player can do before a game other than keep his mouth shut or say stuff like, "We're just practicing hard and trying to get ready for a tough opponent on Sunday" and "[Fill in the blank] is a great team and we're going to have our hands filled on Sunday."
