Not that it has anything to do with this but in Northern NE where I go to ski, 80% of the people on the slopes wear helmets.

I've been skiing since I was three and I still wear a helmet every time I go.

My father is the best skiers I have ever seen outside of the profesionals and he wears a helmet as well.

It took them awhile but they're better than ESPNNEWS. I had ESPNNEWS on for about 45 minutes a few hours ago and they never said a word about this tragic story. They had something on the bottom line but come on... if this was Terrell Owens who's missing we'd have Michael Irvin balling his eyes out on all ten ESPN channels right now.

That is by far the worst post I have ever seen. I think many people would agree that you one-uped me on my rant on how "tight" Chad Jackson and Laurence Maroney were because their "pitch-black". But, for you to say that Hill's potential death makes room under the depth chart easier for other players is pretty sick. I could care less about how good/bad Hill is at football, but this is his life were talking about. I didn't love Hill, nor do I love any other Patriot on this team because I'm only a fan, nothing else. I pray he is still alive, this is aweful news.

Obviously it's not going to get as much coverage as if it were a star player. But if you want to look at it from a detached media coverage point of view, as a story it will likely get more traction than the Williams & Nash passings.

Again, if you want to look at it from a matter-of-fact media story POV, you have him instructing his friend and saving her, combined with the whole Louisana/LSU/Katrina angle, which still has legs in the media. Plus, he is a Patriot, which is one of the more popular media teams.

Don't worry -- by the time the day is out it will be a top story.

Again, not that I want to look at this from a clinical angle, its still a tragedy and my utmost concern is for family and friends, but I'm sure this will become a bigger story.
