It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Less than two weeks ago, when he was in his hometown of Normandy, Mo., promoting a July football camp, he did answer one question from a KDSK-TV news anchor who asked how he was recovering.
“My shoulder’s doing good right now,” Maroney said. “We’re rehabbing it, getting the stretching back and basically just getting the strength back in it.”
As always they will be kept quiet...I am thinking PUP for Jackson and maybe Thomas...but Maroney will be ready...
Assuming there are no setbacks, Thomas should not be going on the PUP list.
Has anyone has read/heard/seen any info on the progress of Chad Jackson, Dave Thomas and or Maroney re: their respective injuries?
It's been a couple months since I've read anything about CJ, and timetables then said he'd be running by June, which is coming up pretty soon...
if you go to patriots .com click on the bill belicheck dailey injury report that features docters qoutes, pictures of the injury, and video tape of the player explaining his progress dailey
i get a kick out of posters asking for injury updates, dont they know the game by now?Oh, a joke?
Really now, folks post all sorts of news on Pats' who are rehabbing based on snippets collected from all over, such as the Maroney example cited above.i get a kick out of posters asking for injury updates, dont they know the game by now?
I honestly believe Jackson is progressing fine, but I think NE will likely place him on the PUP list to play it safe, especially with all the added WR's. I don't think Jackson's going on the IR, though.

Yes, obviously the Pats are tight-lipped about injuries, but considering this forum knew about Chad Jackson's torn ACL 5-7 days in advance of it being reported in any reputable source, I figured my query wasn't that outrageous. Zippo and Sebman already offered up more than I'd heard.
Nice update. thx.Chad Jackson:
As was posted on here before (by myself and others), Jackson spent the offseason in NE to help his rehab, he's been working out pretty hard at Gillette for a while now, he's been studying his playbook, according to sources he's going to start running pretty soon, is supposed to be cleared for contact by/during training camp, should (without setbacks) technically be ready for the season, but BB might place him on the PUP just to play it safe. McDaniels recently said Jackson is coming along fine.
Maroney had Bankart surgery which generally isn't that big of a deal, is somewhat common in football (generally you don't hear about it because of this), and he should be fine. If everything goes smoothly Maroney's shoulder shouldn't be a problem.
According to reports Thomas should heal fine, and he should be ready to go this season.
Any setbacks to these players will change these outlooks, but that's the last I've heard on the three players listed.

If Jackson is up and running he will in the team considering that moss, cadwell, jabbar are FA in 08 and stallworth has a 16$ option.
