Colts actually started this, not Ravens. The Ravens notified Colts of issues on the kicking ball which turned out to be true. That's why Harbaugh and Ravens can come out so strongly to refute report (something Kraft should learn from). Colts used the info to try to get a competitive advantage by making up this rumor on Pats deflation strategy.

NFL had an employee who had a scheme to steal kicking balls to sell. He got busted and fired (facts). However, Goodell couldn't afford another scandal and listened to his fellow Pats hater employees and pandered to the numerous owners who were sick of getting their butts kicked.

Goodell and his PR team decided to shift the attention to the mean cheating Pats and tells his gun for fire Wells to get him dirt on Pats. He comes up empty and strings together a bunch of horseshit texts and makes up a story on how Pats could have done something bad. Goodell uses this crap report and decides if he's going to do this, he might as well make an example of the Pats and solidify support from the anti-Pats owners.

Now his desperate attempt to shift the blame and change the real story is unraveling before his eyes. Hopefully someone in the mainstream media puts it together and brings back the real story of the NFL scandal that Goodell wants to be hidden and did so, by making up a bigger scandal.

I think they "whiffed" on this whole case, Kensil and the rest of the failed former Jet employees wanted BB and thought he would be the culprit.. when he wasn't they had to change the narrative to go after his inner circle.

This is the driving force, as if they found BB guilty and pulled a "Bountygate" then maybe Mr. Kraft would dump BB and the Jets might have a chance... but it backfired, and the narrative had to fit the conclusion they arrived at initially..

This confuses me also. And they just said on mike and mike that it's looking more and more like Brady will serve the 4 game suspension. ...am I missing something? Do I have on patriots rose colored glasses ? I just don't understand how ANYONE could actually think after all this new information that he would serve 4 games....I must be missing something.

Be patient my friend. Their time will come. Unfortunately it is going to take time. It's taken almost 6 months to get to where we are to day. WE might have known more and earlier, but the general public is only just now starting to get the truth, and it takes time to absorb it. All this WILL eventually come out into the light of day. Now whether anyone will want to read it at that point is another question. But I know I will.

They have been saying that all along. Greenberg is an admitted Jets fan so I'm sure he hopes Brady's suspension is upheld. I think I have Deflategate Fatigue Syndrome. After 6+ months, I can't listen to sportstalk anymore.

I hear you....it's on at my work so I'm stuck. Lol. I stupidly though thought after Tuesdays release I would at least be hearing a different tune....silly me.

liked how john gruden said he'd be disappointed if brady was suspended for any games.

Its ESPN still trying to push the Brady is guilty mantra and deflect attention away from the NFL and it's lies that have just been exposed.

I agree completely am so burned out by the mediots all trying to frame the same issue differently and then yelling about how right they are, even though before they were wrong.. the channel needs to be changed.

This has gone on too long with too many different POV's that all sound pretty much the same.....

Well....

The NFL has numerous lies about what prompted the investigation.

There were damaging lies in the immediate aftermath of the AFCCG.

Wells lied several times in an effort to steer the evidence toward a predetermined conclusion.

The NFL had a massive lie when delivering punishment in an effort to ensure the man who delivered that punishment could be arbiter of the appeal.

Goodell then lied when he upheld his original decision.

Due to Exponent's testimony. we now know with complete certainty that the psi drop is naturally explained.

Oh, and Brady destroyed his phone.

Hopefully this makes it 100% clear why Tom should still serve his suspension. You're welcome.
