Certainly not. Brown will get $1.5M plus $500K of possible incentives. Since Miguel's list the cap hit as $2M, I presume that the incentives are LTBE.

I am surprised he got so much, thought he was beginning to get desperate to find a team. $400K signing bonus means he is on the team unless he gets hurt. It's cliche but let's hope he's the next Vrabel type signing by BB. One less slot for the the CB's, I wonder if this means one of the FA's - McClain or Fletcher - will be looking for work soon?

I recall several posts calling him fodder when I was scrolling through the thread about signing him.

How do you get that he was getting desperate? He's a veteran that probably wanted to skip off-season workouts. I think him signing just before camp kind of proves that. Also the fact that Belichick had him in twice says says he had been interested in Brown.

They are misinformed. He's not elite but with a good pass rush (which he had in SF) he can be very good.
