Don't forget:

"Poison" Ivy Jo Hunter
Leonard "the Tortoise" Russell
Mike "Doctor" Ruth
Chris "Not Cortez" Singleton
Ray "Really Not Cortez" Agnew
Danny "Ramshackle" Villa

Excellent!

No kidding...Singleton and Agnew instead of Cortez Kennedy...ugh.

Also...

Marion "2 yards and a cloud of dust" Butts

I remember Fred Smerlas saying how respected Andre Tippett was around the league. The quote was when Tippet hit you, "you stayed hit."

Sometime when you have a minute, compare Stanley Morgan's numbers to HOF receiver Lynn Swann. No knock on Swann - he was a very good player who happened to play for the most successful team of the 70s. But Morgan was a better player.

LOL. Yep, Butts was past his prime -- to say the least -- by the time he came to NE.

That Singleton/Agnew trade turned into a classic "a dollar for two dimes" deal (actually with the Terry Wooden pick they traded in round 2 it was more like $1.25 for two dimes). One of the worst trades in team history.

Yep. Damn close to Pat "Pinhead" Sullivan shipping Mike Haynes to OAK....
