So did his 300K option kick in or what?

I read 5th day of the league year but it stated no time. I assumed 4pm cause that is when FA started. Can someone help me out here?

EDIT: A poster "Luuked" answered this for me in another thread JUST as I made this one.

Seems they don't need to decide till Monday. so never mind : P

Answered it in the other thread. Since the deadline fell on a Saturday they need to make decision by Monday.

Miguel tweeted something to that extend today.

Yes you were very helpful and thanks again : P

Hope he sticks around. I like Hooman as a 3rd or 4th tight end. Big time clutch plays vs Baltimore.

If they don't like what's in this draft at TE, I'd keep Hooman for this year. He doesn't catch a ton of passes, but he tends to get a good YPC when he does.

I like him, and he's done everything they've asked of him. He has pretty good hands and very good blocking skills. It'd be nice to have him around for another year as insurance as well as depth.

Assuming they keep four tight ends, this shapes up to being a versatile veteran bunch. I hope Wright sticks and can pick up his game some, he sort of faded down the stretch. But it wouldn't surprise me to see Wright or Hooman gone with Develin playing a hybrid H-back sort of role.

ones he does catch are usually pretty amazing.

Goodbye Hooperson! Thank you for your service

Since the NFL announced transactions today both Hoomanawanui and Blount (100K) got their roster bonus

...Simply because he is relatively uncovered. Develin can at least run people over.

If chandler isn't a waking infirmary case, Hooman should be packing his bags. If there is any one person that NEEDS to be upgraded, it is Hooman.

So I guess there was some exception so the deadline wasnt pushed to the next business day? Or are weekends im the offseason considered businesa days?
