When was Boyce bumped up from the PS?

Around the Bills game at the end of the season supposedly another team wanted to sign him from the PS. Instead of losing Boyce the Pats promoted him.

Everyone keeps talking about how NE needs to run, but I think they're going to be more pass heavy.
They are going to throw, throw and throw some more.

I hadn't heard that. I thought he was promoted because the shock squad needed some depth for the final.

Difficult to elicit sympathy for an inactive, as we have no idea how they practiced this week or if any of them have minor injuries..

Being part of this team and being in the Superbowl is very cool.. BB will put the best team on the field dependent on the game plan..

Then you would have had to inactivate someone else.

TB is right, there really is no reason to feel that bad for these guys. They are fringe game day players who most likely were expecting to be inactive anyway.
I know they are fringe players, that's not the problem with me. The problem is i think its tacky as hell that the NFL forces you to deactivate guys from the biggest game of their life. Idc if your a bench warming scrub or a HOF, I just think its bs.

But it would be unfair if a team had injured players they couldn't use. Having 7 sit balances the rosters.

Gray should have been active...no arguments can defend him being inactive

Actually, I think the NFL should make an exception for the Superbowl; entire roster is active.
