The only explanation I can think of is the proximity of the two places (NJ, NY NFL offices).

Yep, I say move the NFL head office from that sewer NYC, and bring it to a fairly big city that does not have an NFL team in it, say Omaha, Nebraska, or somewhere like that. And, anyone who has had the type of vested interest in any club like Rog-Jet has had should NEVER be allowed to be commish.

Curran wrote a good piece on this angle…Certainly a detail the NFL's investigation should look into. The problem is that this whole thing has never been about revealing the truth. If it was, all they'd have to do is conduct some scientific studies detailing what the balls went through on game day just like Belichick outlined last Saturday. This is the obvious way to clear the Patriots of any wrong doing. The fact that they haven't done this is very telling…The league office doesn't want to clear the Patriots of any wrong doing. They are after Belichick's head.

No offense to you but there will be 7 months to bicker over this. There's 4 legit days of free agency and a week of good draft talk hidden in there. Then we will get excited for pre season until we are quickly reminded that its trash. This is the super bowl and we are letting the media ruin it. People are pissing away the climax of the season over this. Its not you its 90 percent of this board.
