Welker Not Sure He'll Be Back In Denver

It is on him if he retires or not. But if he is open to returning, I would take him. Even in his current state, I can see him snagging at least 35 balls from Brady.

I hope he retires for his own self. Probably greatest slot wr of all time. Get put while you hopefully still have your health.

If Amendola is gone this offseason, I could maybe see bringing him back in a limited role. I think he's way too proud to accept that, though, so it's almost certainly a moot point.

Why would you want this guy back? He wouldn't even make our roster at this stage.

Cause emotions.
Cause I don't get salty when a player leaves.
Cause I don't blame players who get prideful when they feel 'dissed'.
Cause I work for a major competitor for the company that I used to work for so I can appreciate wanting to stick it to someone (lol it's burger king you guyz)
Cause it would be nice to see him get a ring for all the great memories he gave us and a nice way to wrap up his career.

What does any of that have to do with him not being a good player anymore?

He doesn't deserve a ring with us after all of the passes he failed to catch in big games.

Welker? no, Austin Collie is better than him

I bet he plays another year to try and rebuild his value, KC and Houston are the first that come to mind but I bet a lot of teams would have interest. I'm not sure if he can do it, those Brain injuries have undoubtedly ****ed him up pretty bad.

There doesn't seem to be much, if anything, left in his tank.

At what price?

i love wes. would love to see him retire as a PAT.
hell, branch returned multiple times. lol

Agreed. Would love to have seen Wes get a ring but it's obvious he's taken too much punishment and needs to retire.
