The atheists in that forum don't even know why they are atheists to begin with lol.

And theists do not know why they are following their parents vile and immoral Gods.

Which group is the most hypocritical?

I would say theists as they have to lie way more than non-believers.

I am not one but most atheists I know just do not bother believing religious B.S. and lies of the supernatural kind.

That makes good people do evil things.

Remember the Dark Ages and all the Christian murders and Inquisition?

I do and doubt that our more enlightened secular masses will allow religions any such leeway again.

The last poll i saw was that >1/3 of Americans 30 or less are now non-religious. Majority of these being male.

When they taught evolution in my public school I remember it being only like 5 minutes long. So I attribute this giant growth among young people to the interwebs.

Most are brighter by 15 than their parents are and do not have the same tribal needs that open them to believing B.S.

Women are living in a misogynous world that continues to be pushed by religions.

If you were a woman, would you not be praying that God was real so that he could teach the vast majority of males that they are not superior to women just because they have penises? And that this false and unjust thinking is something God should correct the so called religious on?

The Governments of the world are not there for women so that only leaves women God to count on.

Their husbands, fathers and brothers and other males are certainly not there to help the women gain their rightful equality.

Shame on us all.

Most of the mainstream ones, yes. He shall rule over you, for instance, is the Christian way of institutionalizing discrimination without just cause.

Gnostic Christianity was decimated by Christianity in part because of our view on the equality of all people regardless of what gender they were.

Equality does not fit well into the hierarchical pyramid of power that Rome wanted in place. Way too democratic.
