Hightower Collins and Mccourty all got snubbed
You're right, I forgot McCourty. I think Collins might have deserved a spot, but it's not that insane that he didn't make it in. McCourty and Hightower though, no excuses about them.
The Patriots had three OLBs (Hightower, Collins, Ayers) and no ILBs on the ballot. The OLB Pro Bowl spots, as expected, were swept by edge rushers because the average Pro Bowl voter just votes for whoever has the most sacks. With that said, not sure if they considered Collins to be a OLB or an ILB?

McCourty was listed at strong safety, too. In terms of how they're used, Weddle should have been on the ballot (and made it) as a strong safety over Ward and McCourty should be in Weddle's spot at FS.

So 1 tight end and 3 big bodied receivers were selected to the pro bowl for the Tight end position. What a joke!
