BB really moved Collins around, he was great in coverage in tough matchups against Hillman. He had a couple of great pass rushes and was all over the field. His progression is making me feel better after losing Mayo.

Browner was physical and tough especially on the blocks. Very impressed. We still need over the top help if we can't get a rush, but with Revis on the other side we should be able to do that.

I'm really impressed with Browner and I think most people have to understand that you have to take the good and the bad. He's very physical but he really brings the attitude to that secondary that is much needed. I love him as a player and have been waiting for a guy like this for a while.

Browner is our Rodney. He brings an intensity, physicality, aggressiveness and attitude to the defense that is much needed. The defense is noticeably more aggressive and physical when he's out there.

Yeah, I'm pretty damned happy with how both these guys played last night.

BB's offseason moves (LaFell, Browner and Revis especially) look pretty damned good now, don't they?

Agreed. The in-season moves are showing promise too.

I think it was only because he was following Julius Thomas but Browner was lined up as a linebacker at one stage last night.

I love Browner vs. receiving TEs. He has essentially the same build as Tim Wright.

Arrington deserves credit too, he's been excellent this year and will allow for that ability to move Browner. And as for Patrick Chung, what a revelation. In terms of exceeding expectations, he was my defensive player of the night. He's becoming a legitimate cover safety who can go man to man on a receiver.

I wouldn't go quite that far yet. But his improvement has been dramatic, and he has vastly exceeded my expectations.

We haven't had a player like Brandon Browner since Rodney Harrison guys who are Physical make a difference on your Entire Defense. I think Browner is becoming my favorite Patriot he a Beast in our Defensve backfield.

Jamie Collins what can you say the kid is really learning how to become a complete LB he was just all over the place. Don't sleep on Hightower either I see why BB Drafted him Hightower is like DLineman playing LB. He just destroys RB's and TE's in their Blocking assignment. Hightower is also very decent in pass coverage too he uses very good technique to get the job done. I am really impressed with our young Defense.

The mental side is finally starting to click for Collins. Now he can put it together with all the physical gifts. Browner is feast or famine. We just have to hope that the penalty doesn't come at the most inopportune time.

They're listed at the same ht and wt, but to my eye Browner looks thicker. Then, maybe that's just because he plays with so much swagger. Awesome to have a guy that big and that mean in the secondary!

I completely underestimated the impact of getting Browner would have on our defense. Between Browner and Revis, every throw outside of the numbers will be contested. Browner also got a raw deal on his third flag. He was releasing the jersey about half of a yard past the 5 yard mark.

I also hope we see more of Arrington back in the slot. He's far better at that role (which is why we signed him to that deal) than Ryan or Dennard are.

As a friend of mine said during that stretch of 5 penalties, "Well, they want to keep the game kind of close so they can sell a few more beers and keep people in their seats."

I'm not too worried about the Browner penalties.

Collins and Browner both had best games so far this season last night

Not about ready to say that. He is physical at the LoS.

In terms of putting the fear of god in WRs and TEs, he is not in #37s class.

Like revis said...browner is the energizer bunny for them. A good thing
