Gotta be some kind of record.

Not yet, according to Reiss. Maybe it will be 18.

The only numbers currently available in the 80's are #81 and #82. Every other 80 is taken including #89 which is retired in the name of DL Bob Dee.

Hes been number 83 in New Orleans (taken by Welker here)

and

He's worn number 18 in Philly (currently available here)

Good chance he takes 18.

I bet he takes 1-8

H can't take 18 now because Sauerbrun has it and he will probably be on the roster at least through training camp.

hes an FA though :\

Per Reiss:

JERSEY CHECK-IN: New receiver Kelley Washington has been assigned jersey No. 15. The number was last worn in a regular-season game by punter Ken Walter last season. Quarterback Babe Parilli (1961-67) was probably the most notable Patriot to wear the number. ... Donte' Stallworth has yet to have his jersey number assigned.

Washington wore 15 at Tennessee so I'm sure he's happy with it.
