Im sure this thread isn't going to go over well with most, but per usual...I couldn't care less. I like to look at all of the factors surrounding this team and the players they bring in.

So.. what if Browner isn't nearly the player he is when he's on the sauce? I could understand if he was already a very good/great player before he started hitting the roids, but the dude was vanquished to the CFL at one point.

Don't get me wrong.. I hope he is everything that we/they are expecting him to be. Hell, im hoping he finds a better way to stay on the juice without getting caught! Consult LarRon Landry or one of the other 80% of skill players who manage to not get busted every year. The NFL's testing system for PED's is laughably easy to beat. Just stop getting caught man!!!

2 of the 3 were for weed.

The other was a illegal prescription drug.

And the only reason he was suspended for the amount he was is because he missed drug tests during his stint outside the NFL when he was in the CFL. Thus putting him in stage 3 of the substance abuse program.

Fair enough. Didn't realize it was weed the other two times. I read about the third one possibly being some sort of masking agent or Adderall.

I suspect that the policy on "illegal" drug use is going to need to be revised. Pot is legal is at least two NFL cities.

But that wasn't the point. The point was my concern that he wont be the same guy if he was using them and has now gone clean. Legit concern IMO.

But apparently I was mistaking. It was only weed. My concerns are no more.

Also, do you think its ok for guys like Bonds etc to break records cheating with juice and illegal PEDs?

I'm more concerned that he is going to be the equivalent of most of our offensive skill players that leave for other clubs. A product of a fantastic scheme, and nothing else. Dont get me wrong, Im excited he's with us, but still have that worry in the back of my mind.

If you read my second post, you'd see that I read elsewhere, that the speculation was that the substance he tested for was a banned masking substance or adderal. I have yet to find any confirmed reports that either of those things were the culprit. Nor have I seen it confirmed that it was for weed.

I had no doubt you'd move the thread here even if there were pics of he and Sherman jabbing each other in the butt cheeks with the stuff.

And the answer would be no, I don't care if they cheat or use roids to break records. I know lots if people do care and I respect that.
