That site is claiming that Andre Roberts and Henry Melton are also top Pats targets should Wilfork and Edelman part ways with the team. I really don't trust the site. Time will tell.
Just don't tell them that you don't trust them or they'll throw a fit for not getting any credit for their "reports."

PFC is the same one that said pats were looking into Nicks where there are absolutely 0 reports of that or them looking at anyone else.

That person is last years lokyo guy or that erika girl

Does anyone ever reveal their sources? I mean really why bother asking??

I think Nicks makes a ton of sense on a 1yr deal. He compliments Dobson really well. Nicks can take the X WR role and Dobson in the Y WR role. Nicks is great vs press and physical coverage. This iswere Dobson struggles. Dobson reminds me a lot of Mike Wallace, he has his speed, they are both deadly downfield. However Dobson is a lot better at running shorter routes like slants and outs.

If we can get Nicks, Edelman, Jared Allen or a DE near his price range and Cromartie, or Thurmond. We can focus on DT, Guard and TE during the draft.

Butch Stearns just reported that Edelman has joined Brady and Amendola out in Cali.

That sounds like good news to me?

Yes. He had to fly out on short notice to replace Amendola who got injured.

I agree with some of your thinking, but I wouldn't think we'd be too interested in Antonio Cromartie. Unfortunately for him, that's what happens when you act like an ass and aren't willing to keep your mouth shut.

There's also the downward trend in play, and value to take into account as well. In the past, I would've thought that maybe he'd have added something for the right money, but now I don't think so.

Talib believed to be seeking 9-10m/yr according to Washington Post, and the Redskins are "looking to make a statement at DB" according to a league insider.

Corner market continues to constrict - the Colts nearing a deal with Vontae Davis. Every expectation it will get done Monday

Brandon Albert expected to become a Dolphin on Tuesday, I believe I also read the same is likely for Veldheer and the Cardinals.

What about Dominique Rodgers Cromaterie? Brandon Browner rebuilding Derek Cox Captain Munnerlyn
Chris Cook we have viable options out there. Malcolm Jenkins.
We could move Mccourty back to corner as well. Who knows.
I'm keeping the faith. There is a plan and we will see that it starts with Wilforks decision and locking up Edelman.

Rodgers-Cromartie is bad.

Vontae Davis and Indy appear to be heading towards an extension according to PFT.

Says they should firm things up tomorrow.

Raiders expected to sign C/G Roger Saffold "for roughly $8 million per year."

OT Veldheer expected to sigh with Cardinals for 7 to 7.5m.

OT Anthony Collins expected to sign with Bucs for 6.5-7m/year

Rodgers-Cromartie is bad.

I don't think he's "bad," but he is definitely hesitant to come up and tackle, which is something that would prevent him from becoming a NEP.

He's defended more passes in the last 2 yrs than about 95%+ of all CBs, with 36 total.

19 in 2013, and another 17 in 2012. Actually, he's defended 19 (2x) in his career, 17 (2x), and 25--once you take the one bad year out in PHI where he only started 2 games. Those are 5/6 pretty good seasons, at least coverage-wise in passes defended.

Either way depending on specific opinion, he's probably not a good fit here due to the hesitant tackling issue. I wouldn't consider numbers like that "bad" though, especially when you factor in his INTs which have given him 3+ in 5/6 seasons, and TDs in 4/6 seasons.

Davis seeking over 8, expected to be closer to 10 after the Shields' deal.

I wouldn't think that any of the top CBs left would be seeking anything lower than the 8-10 range at this point, after the Shields deal.

If they claimed anything else I'd be surprised. I just don't know if Talib will be getting that kind of money here. One would have to think that Belichick would be somewhat hesitant to pull the trigger on something like that, but who knows?

Okay, I'll be fair. He was truly awful with the Eagles, had one good season with the Cardinals before falling apart, and was passable if unspectacular last season with the Broncos. He's a huge gamble, and he's completely lackluster in run support.

But then look at Vontae Davis. Lots of mediocre corners getting huge deals right now.

I certainly can't see Talib signing for the patriots before March 18th (one week of action) for $8M or under.
