I think we all would perfer this even myself, who defends DA, would perfer Jules.

I wouldn't think this would be a tough one to move our demands should be low given the options in the contract another team should be more than happy to take on the deal if they want the player.

the timing will be interesting though as we will likely have to resign Jules before trading DA.

Bleacher report writers are not usually the most creditable sources in my experience.

I am not sure what they would get for him, teams know that they would like to resign Edelman so would probably be inclined to wait and hope the Patriots release Amendola and they would not have to give anything up in return.

I do not understand why you and a few others have such an issue with someone opening a thread. Nobody putting a gun to your head forcing you to enter the thread and read it, and it is the offseason so there is not exactly a ton going on in here were this thread is driving down more important threads.

You can ignore the thread with the ignore function, or since you do not like the discussion you could simply choose not to go into the thread. Instead, you make a call to the moderators as if you have been forced to painfully endure yet another Amendola thread. I thought Jack Bauer was a tough guy he would never read a thread he did not want read…

Why wouldn't they make him available? If they can get sufficient return for him, that might tip the balance enough to make it worth eating his dead money this year and re-signing Edelman. It's definitely a theoretical possibility, although I'd be extremely surprised if any team was willing to give up enough to make that a worthwhile proposition for the Pats.

Pompei adds that there is even some speculation that the Patriots could release him if a trade is unable to be reached at some point.

Amendola supporters just look at like this the Patriots have signed off on a few horrific contracts Kyle Arrington being one Amendola the others do the math. For what they bring to the table thay are hardly worth it.

1. We could use a safety now that we released our starting safety earlier today.
2. Why is everyone so shocked that on the day we released our starting safety that we would also entertain trading our #3 wide receiver?
