First off, our team had a great year with all the turmoil we faced this year. But now reality must set in. We need offensive weapons to make it to the next level.
If the defense can stay in tact( Talib resigned, and Vince + Kelly reyained) will be good enough.

Brady has 3 more years at most and we need to surround him with offensive weapons, otherwise we are not getting any further in the playoffs. Mr. Kraft and Mr. BB I implore you to spend the money in free agency on the offense. (Jimy Graham, Hakeem Nicks...)

Otherwise today will mimic our future. Any thoughts???

If we are resigning Talib and keeping Vince and Kelly then there won't be much money left to spend on a big play WR.

I think we aim to resign our key guys and then focus on developing what we have along with a couple of mid priced free agents.

WTF? You are aware there is a cap right?

I love these threads. Just spend money Bob ya cheap bastard:rolleyes:

We're need to add a veteran WR, if that means we can't sign a defensive player than i'm fine with that.

I'm going to guess you're never heard the words "salary cap" before.

herp derp,

We should sign jimmy g, Trade amendola for fitzgerald, Sign Brandon marshall and also just steal adrian peterson, and pay them all 20 million a year, because this is just like baseball.

:bricks:

It will be hard to make those numbers all add up.

There's an argument for mortgaging the future a bit more than usual, in that Hernandez will eventually be convicted, and maybe some of his bonus money can then be recovered. But I imagine the amounts involve will, by salary-cap standards, turn out to be small.

I also don't think Brady is so close to the end of his career that it would be time to go all-in on a last hurrah.

it would be nice if we drafted some guys who we have heard of instead of trying to outsmart yourself and continue to have head scratching drafts.

not all were bad picks but it was pretty bad all togehter.
