If it comes down to money we should pay the player who was targeted 11 times resulting in 9 receptions for 110 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns over the player who was targeted 6 times resulting in 3 receptions for 17 yards and no touchdowns.

Overall I am very happy with the development of Edelman this season and also disappointed in the poor investment into Danny Amendola who once again proved he is not capable of filling the void left my Wes Welker.

Yup. I've posted before one incident not likely visible to the TV viewer. In his first pre-season game his rookie year in Philly, JE was showing Joey Galloway where to line up on plays, on several occasions. It was obvious then, that he grasped the playbook while Galloway didn't. And that was the game he returned a punt for a TD. Guy in front of me at the Linc turned around (I was wearing a Troy Brown jersey) and asked "how the hell do the Patriots keep finding these type of players?"

Speaking of Galloway...I was at the sox parade with my friend(not a sox fans personally but went anyways) and someone had a joey galloway patriots jersey. what the hell lol?

Well said, Brady6. Hopefully Edelman can be had for 3-4 million a year.

If Amendola blows next year, thankfully, he's cuttable in 2015 with 2 million saved. He's not cuttable in 2014 though.

Now, if he's sucking due to any lingering injury, why not shut him down and just roll with Dobson/KT/Edelman?

Fixit Danny is a soft overrated player if you cannot see that take your blinders off. 9 out of 10 Patsfans would take Welker back over DA in a sec. KT and AD will vault right pass him before you know it and thats if they haven't already to the Coaches.

Yes, he should get credit for being a healthy scratch from a game. Anyway, take out Amendola's stats for the same week that KT was out, and Amendola still has one more catch.
