Seems like kinda a boring week for other games rooting interest, excepting as always rooting hard for the Jets weekly opponent.

Thurs 8:25
NO @ ATL:

Hate rooting against NO but I don't want this years train wreck in ATL to get top draft picks as they're already talented though dysfunctional

Sun 1PM Games:
NYJ @ BAL:

Bal has 6 losses, Jets 5. Especially with last Monday night's debacle we need the Jets to rack up more losses.

PIT @ CLE:
2 more 6 loss teams. Rooting for the Browns here. Pitt should win though.

TB @ DET:
Nothing that affects the Pats here so I'm going with my winter homies, the Bucs here. Can't stand many Lions players anyway. Bucs on a roll!

MIN @ GB:
Pack really needs a W to stay alive. I want Minn to lose and scoop up the high draft picks keeping them away from better teams (ATL) and especially AFC rivals.

JAC @ HOU:
Don't let the Texans rebuild through the draft. Go Houston!

SD @ KC:
Still holding out hope that KC wins the AFCW. I know, I know. SD goes hot and cold. Interesting to see how mentally disciplined KC is following a loss to their big rival.

CAR @ MIA:
Sad to say Miami is still a threat to us in the AFCE. Holding my nose and rooting for the newly despised Cats.

CHI @ STL:

Can't fathom a reason to care.

Sunday 4PMish Games
IND @ ARI:

Indy is a threat to our seeding. Go Cards!

TEN @ OAK:

Both 6 loss teams. Need someone to take the 6 seed from the Jets. Jets have already lost to the Tits but have yet to play the Raiders so I'm going with the Raiders as winners here so that they have strong playoff incentive to beat the Jets in December.

DAL @ NYG:
As much as I really can't stand Romo, et. al. they're playing Goober et. al. Go Cows!

SUN 8:30PM
DEN @ NE:

I'm torn because WWW is playing for Denver. Oh, he's out? Then it's the Pats for me! (If joking about this is a banable offense, mods please delete post. Thanks!)

MON @ 8:30PM:
SF @ WAS:

Battle of 2012 QB phenoms that are sinking into oblivion. Rooting for SF because I don't want Seattle to skate into the post season. Make them play hard to win the division. OK, with 4 losses, SF is not a threat. So who cares who wins here? Maybe still SF so that Washington gets to waste top draft pick talent ahead of AFC teams.

NO @ ATL:
Atlanta to win, to avoid a good team from getting too early of a draft pick

Sun 1PM Games:
NYJ @ BAL:
Always root for the Jets to lose

PIT @ CLE:
Root for Pittsburgh to win, to avoid getting too early of a draft pick. Plus, they are probably more likely to be a threat to the Jets for the #6 seed than Cleveland is.

TB @ DET:
Nothing likable about Suh and his teammates, so root for the Bucs to win their 3rd straight.

MIN @ GB:
A Vikings loss keeps them ahead of teams like Houston in the draft, plus a Green Bay win helps their chances of keeping Detroit out of the playoffs.

JAC @ HOU:
Root for Houston to win, so they don't get too good of a draft pick.

SD @ KC:
Conflicted here. I want the Chargers to win with the idea that they keep the Jets out of the playoffs - but the reality is that with their schedule that is unlikely. I want Denver to have to go on the road in the playoffs, so for that to happen I want a KC win. Then there is the remote chance of the Patriots having the number one seed, which is more likely if the Chiefs lose. Tough call, but I'll go with a KC win, as the other two scenarios are too remote.

CAR @ MIA:
Miami is still in the hunt to keep the Jets out of the playoffs, so rooting for them to win here.

CHI @ STL:
I guess root for the Bears to win, to make life miserable for Detroit.

Sunday 4PMish Games
IND @ ARI:
Colts to lose to improve Patriots playoff seeding.

TEN @ OAK:
Raiders are currently above the Titans in AFC tiebreaker, so root for them to win in hopes of keeping the Jets out of the playoffs.

DAL @ NYG:
Always root against teams claiming New York as their home base.

SUN 8:30PM
DEN @ NE:
Pats, obviously

MON @ 8:30PM:
SF @ WAS:
Got nothing here...

Week 12 NFL Television Schedule

In New England the tv schedule is:
  • Jets-Ravens early game on CBS
  • Vikings-Packers early game on FOX
  • Cowboys-Giants late game on FOX
edit: looks like FOX stations in Boston and Hartford have switched away from the Vikings-Packers, to show the Dolphins-Panthers game instead.

Really hoping someon gives Hoyer another chance next year.

Week 12 NFL Television Schedule

In New England the tv schedule is:
  • Jets-Ravens early game on CBS
  • Vikings-Packers early game on FOX
    [*]Cowboys-Giants late game on FOX

So we FINALLY get to watch an NFC East game, eh?

Also, I can't keep track: Whose turn is it to suck this week? Geno's or Flacco's?

Week 12 is up

506 Sports

We get to watch both AFCE rivals at 1PM and the Cows Jints at 4
My wife is gonna hate me Sunday

I'd rather green bay loses. Better chance they miss the playoffs. Might be too late for them by the time discount double whatever gets back.

If the freaking Giants end up making the playoffs this year after the start they had, I will absolutely croak. If the Giants AND the Jets make the playoffs this year, magnify that by 100... :bricks:

I'm hoping for a Jets/Ravens tie, Titans and chargers win. I want to play the Titans/chargers in the 1st round if we don't get a bye
