Thompkins isn't the first round talent people think he is.

How is Collie a more consistent option? He has 3 catches in 4 games. We could always tell he was very talented but unpolished. Now that Collie has been integrated into the offense, he's been deemed a more consistent option. I don't think it's too bad of a sign for Thompkins long term, because we all knew he needed more polishing. Now he just gets to do it behind the scenes.

Consistent in the "where Brady wants you when he wants you there" sense. How is Collie a more consistent option? He has 3 catches in 4 games.
Who would those people be?
KT is a first round talent, his stats are better than almost all rookies out there, and he's shown consistent separation, route running and has made some spectacular plays. Sorry, but most rookies simply aren't as good so early, and other some dropsies on a few easy balls, has been really productive for the pats so far.
I mean, he's looked better than Ochocinco and a whole slew of receivers over the years in only his first year.
Dobson is really good too, although a different type of receiver. I'm glad we have both these guys, and wouldn't trade them for any other rookie out there, which is crazy if you think about it.
