Need and option between the top two. I expect something along the lines of 7 for 85 and a TD if he's back this week. I think a lot of that will be because he won't be the a large part of the Saints' defensive game plan.

Under what basis do you think that? Is not like he's hobbled out there... Mist reports are that he looks great in practice running and catching the ball like old gronk..and he's been healthy for a few weeks now

Continuity is important. You build momentum through camp and through the season. Gronk hasn't played in almost a year.

Maybe he'll get there come playoffs but I don't think he will mentally be there until he completes an entire offseason healthy.

Per league source, Rob Gronkowski is expected to be cleared this week and it is likely he will play on Sunday against the Saints.

About to find out.

One of the PFW guys just had a great idea. Make the first offensive play a pass to Gronk so you get Rob Ryan thinking he could be a large part of the gameplan.

If this was 3 weeks ago I thought he was going to get just a few plays here and there but he has had 3 extra weeks of practice to knock some of the rust of. I still don't think he is 100% and do not expect him to be playing a full game 80 snaps or anything like that. I would guess 30-40 snaps with about 10 balls thrown his way one in the endzone. So final line will look like 6 for 50 yards and a TD which is more then we've gotten from the TE position all year combined. Give it til after the bye for full GRONK (7-10 catches 80-150 yards and a TD or two) is back

but, he has been practicing with the team for the past 3 weeks in full contact...i guess i'm not expecting it to be something like say Amendola who is nursing an injury where he needs to be eased back..

Gronk has been healthy since probably about week 3 and has been taking it cautiously

well the truth is we cant cover Gronk, the other recievers and the run game.
Akiem Hicks,Cameron Jordan, Junior Galette are gasers for edge rushing, but that requires something up the middle. Now Galette is fast and can cover ok.
But we will have to call the right play ever time.

I was sort of close. 8 for 114

In-form Gronk definitely would have had 2 TD today.

scary(for opposing teams) to think how he's going to be with more game time to get up to speed
