Tim Tebow:

A few words from a Tebow fan

I've met him twice at different functions. He exudes "it". He has an aura around him-Can't explain it. I'm far, far, far from religious, but he has something Don't know what it is. I've read that from his various teammates.
When he went to Denver, all us Tebowites went all in. When he finally got to start, we were thrilled. Oh my! All the close, miracle wins. We were in 7th heaven- That's the way it was supposed to be- Then he went to the god awful Jets, and it just took the wind out of our sails- (I was a life time Dolphins fan until Marino retired - Tried to be a Jags fan, even bought 5 years of season tickets, but I just couldn't connect with them-Trying to find a team I can connect with)
Just happy you guys are giving him a chance- I've been very disappointed in his play thus far this year, but I keep hoping. If he stays, the Patriots are my team- If he gets cut, maybe I'll go back to being a Dolphin fan again.
PS I do enjoy your forum.

Great, more idol worship. Maybe you guys should have chosen someone a little more talented to deify. I thought only children acted this way.

Even if he makes the team roster, Tebow won't really be a Patriot, and you aren't wanted here. You can only be a Patriots fan if you decided by the time you started grade school. Plus, you exude this venemous hatred in each and every post. Just like all the other pro Tebow posters here. But you can't help it, you're a Tebow fan.

I thought only children acted this way.

Says the guy that has 51 posts in a thread about a player whom he doesn't care about and doesn't consider to be an NFL QB.

That's funny. Thanks for the laugh.

I guess that means that Ochocinco, Haynesworth, and Chad jackson were all still good players as well, after all Belichick had them on the roster for a little while.

Unless of course you are making the most recent argument for Tebow, which is that he isn't any good but they should still keep him.

I'm just saying that I rank Belichick's football evaluation talents slightly ahead of your own.

What about all these players:

Brandon Meriweather
Kareem Brown
Terrence Wheatley
Shawn Crable
Kevin O'Connell
Jonathan Wilhite
Patrick Chung
Ron Brace
Darius Butler
Brandon Tate
Tyrone McKenzie
Rich Ohrnberger

And yet I still value Belichick's football scouting ability slight more than yours!

The funny thing is, I can't remember ever seeing a Patsfans thread where Patsfans were openly calling for too many of them to be cut (Haynesworth being one of a few exceptions).

Sure, not the same thing at all but nice attempt at deflection.

I've only commented on whether or not he should be on the team, I'm not vouching for the character of, idolizing or deifying anyone. It's weird, creepy and silly that presumed adults act this way over another person. And one who's such a ****ty QB. Sorry, but it is.

It is a phenomon grown men spending hours upon hours a day defending a man they've never even met.

Here's a little something, something for all you who have Tebow as the background on your cell phones.. Don't say I never show you love..

So you don't have a photo shopped picture of you and him as your Facebook profile pic....:what:

So Belichick never makes a mistake?

I never wanted Ochostinko or Haynesworth in the first place; a complete waste of salary cap space and draft picks.

I'm not idolizing or deifying anyone either, neither are most his supporters here.

And as has been stated previously, it's no different than grown men spending hours upon hours a day going on about a team they support.

Really Demos - is that what you really think? I wonder how the owner of the website feels about that comment.

It is very different, the content of the conversations about the team can range from roster spots, schemes, coaching and so on......... and so on..

If this was an amusement park we'd be going on every ride and Tebow fans would be riding the same ride over and over and telling everyone who said that ride was the worst why it wasn't and how awesome the ride was 3 years ago.

Yes, that is what I think. Before you get your jimmies all rustled over the statement, notice that the comment is value neutral.

Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with a person spending time supporting either a team or an individual. Do you understand that "fan" is short for "fanatic" ? As in, one who is supportive to an extreme compared to others ?

Some of us can do both

A fan is also called aficionado -

If I were you, I would stop labeling people.
