Peter King appears, yet again, to be full of crap. Belichick wasn't doing anything different in the 2nd pre-season game. King's babble about "robber" sets and jumping routes is a load, when you consider the pass defenders who did not play - McCourty and Dennard. Belichick isn't going to show anything using a bunch of rookies and cast-offs.
The pass rush was successful not because of any exotic scheming or sets. It succeeded because the Patriots were faster to the point of attack, tossed their blockers aside, and/or Josh Freeman can't read pressure.
The pick six by Logan Ryan against the backup QB was a lame pass on a basic out pattern that Ryan was in the right place to exploit.
I hate it when guys like Peter King try to show they have some inside knowledge of football
