last play of the half...all sanchez had to do was throw it away and kick the FG..instead he scrambles and the clock runs out before he makes his horrible pass. Sums up his entire career
It is to laugh

I could end up being wrong, but I think there is a good chance that Sanchez explains that play by saying "That's something I could have done better. But at least it's the preseason and we'll be prepared for when the games count."
Of course, a QB going into his 5th season as a starter should be able to execute in those situations by now, preseason, regular season, or post season.
** Sanchez took the blame for holding the ball too long at the end of the half, when the Jets had third and goal on the 6. The clock ran out and the Jets got nothing. But Ryan wanted to shoulder the blame, too, for making that call to not kick a field goal with six seconds left on third down.
“I’ll take the responsibility on that,” Ryan said. “I knew it was going to be tight. You’re hoping to get one or two clicks left (on the clock). I knew it was risky when I called it and obviously we never executed it very well. That one is on me. I knew it was risky before I made the call. Would you make that call in a regular season game? Maybe not.
“It wasn’t designed (as a rollout, even though Sanchez rolled out), but those things happen and when the immediate throw wasn’t there, I think Mark thought he could make a play and that’s why he did it.”
Coples out 3-4 weeks with hairline fracture
I hope he is back and healthy for week 2 so Jets fans can see the mistake the Jets' front office made by taking him over Chandler Jones. The funny thing is they are trying to make Coples and OLB in the 3-4 even though he is way too big for that position and Jones is far more of a natural fit for that position. Coples is clearly a DE in the 3-4.
Coples is Gholston 2.0. These are the 2012 New Jersey Green Beans 2.0.
Coples is better than Gholston.
I know that but give it time. Futility does strange things to people.
http://www.jetsinsider.com/forums/threads/257614-My-evaluation-of-SanchezWhile everyone will only focus on his mistakes, I think he has ALSO shown areas of improvement, and at lease SOME fight for the job, to improve, show that he can fight through fan outrage, and does seem to be progressing well in MM's new offense.
Dee Millner was awful last night. He was lost out there and absolutely owned by Justin freaking Blackmon. If he doesn't vastly improve, he is going to be a big bust too.
