A lotta people don't seem to understand how pissed the **** off everyone was when sources said Tom Brady was fine.

This is Tebow's time, as depicted in the book of Genesis 51:1. In the King James version, though not in these exact words, Jesus told this man to lose to the Patriots in 2011 because it wasn't time yet. Tebow, being the strong and loyal servant of God that he is, allowed Tom Brady to defeat him that day in the playoffs. But in Revelations 30:5 and Jobs 68:10, Tebow shall rise to grant New England a fourth piece of heaven's divine kingdom. In layman's terms, a new Superbowl ring.

As it is written, so shall it be done

Tebow throws a football like Ahern makes decisions with guns in his hand.

Life changingly bad.

I thought you were going to say "deadly effective."

Tom Brady out on the game field here at Gillette, playing catch with a kid from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Brady is trying to hog attention away from Tebow.

Get out there, Timmy! Interception!

I have one last thing to say to the ignorant ones who, for whatever reason, don't support Tim Tebow. Let me enlighten you all.

Why did Jesus, a man endowed with the limitless power of God, allow himself to be beaten, spit on, and whipped while carrying and while being nailed to the cross? He did it for us, to take away our sins.

Now I ask you. Why does Tebow, a man endowed with the limitless power of God, allow himself to be mistreated by the New York Jets, shunned by nearly every NFL team, throw inaccurate passes, and pretend to act awkward inside the pocket?

Because he's doing it for us, New England, God's true chosen land and people!

52 men will walk blind in the valley of the shadow of death. But a 53rd man shall chase away the darkest of evil like an eternal sun and guide his people to paradise.

-Proverbs 70:24

Brick, we don't need to do anything to make you all look silly as you all do a fine enough job of it already.

We're just having some fun.

Fair enough, btw Tebow sucks.

That was fun.:singing:

With the top qb's getting dinged up, you know he's even more likely to make this team now? You should maybe start cheering for the guy. He may be asked to contribute at some point. Or will that kill you too much?

Make the team? Actually play QB for the Patriots? You take that back you sadistic SOB!

My beef with Tebow is he gets this cult like devotion that no other back up QB in recent memory has ever gotten. Based on what? Being a great guy who tries really hard? I can't go on fanbot mode hoping that someone with so many terminal skill deficiencies makes the team.

The bottom line is that this is what the Tebow fans really want, they don't care about the Patriots season they only care about Tebow getting a chance to play, and don't care one bit about that opportunity coming at the loss of the GOAT. The truth is that Tebow playing won't kill any of us it will just kill any chance the Patriots have at getting back to and possibly winning the Super Bowl.

As for those who predicted that Tebow's arrival in NE would come replete with a bunch of Tebow fans coming into this forum and making themselves look like idiots-------boy were they ever wrong................

Tebow is a good guy and he does work hard, he just isn't capable of running this offense so he shouldn't be here. He could possibly make a real career for himself in the CFL, we'll see.

As for his fans, Patriot fans were really concerned when Brady went down yesterday, Tebow fans saw it as a possible opportunity opening up for Tebow, they really don't care about the Patriots.

Sadistic SOB? Don't know how you call me that? Are you jealous of Tebow or something? Why does it bother you that he has fans? The Raiders aren't very good and they also have a cult like following.

You already know. He's vocal about his religion. Religious people really like that, so they'll watch him play. And maybe... just maybe, it has something to do with him still being a virgin... if he still is anyway. Dunno how he'd stay pure. He probably got girls comin at him left and right, like a pass rush. And I guess people just really like how passionate he is about playin. *shrugs*

It's not the same thing? I thought not getting back to and winning the Super Bowl was what was killing us in the first place. lol. Or is it just me?

The Raiders aren't very good and they also have a cult like following.

That's actually a good analogy.

What is disturbing about Tebow fans is that they want the worst possible thing that could happen to the Patriots season to happen.

Based on what ? Here's the quick version.

The kid was arguably the best college QB to ever play. He passed for 1 less TD than Peyton Manning did at Tennessee and he ran for more TDs than Herschel Walker or Bo Jackson did. IIRC, he's tied with Marshall Faulk for career rushing TDs. Couple that with his "intangibles", which even most of his harshest critics readily give him credit for, and it makes for a very compelling QB.

Unlike many/most others, I think that the Spread Option can work in the NFL and have thought so for years. Tebow has the size/strength to counter the "the QB will get killed" arguments that many put forth when discussing Option in the NFL.

So, I'm really interested to see if the experiment will work out.

If that version is too long, here's and even shorter one. I just like watching the guy play. There's something about seeing a QB running down the field, lowering his shoulder and blowing up a LB, DB or Safety.

That's actually a good analogy.

That's not true Ivan. No offense, but I've never seen any Tebow fan say that. If you can find that, then shame on them.

You've said that at least twice now. Funny thing is that I haven't seen any Tebow fans hoping for, or cheering about a Brady injury. I'm sure that there are some out there, but crazy folks are to be found in any population.

I hope Tom Brady gets injured so Tim Tebow can start.

d%#*!@t fnord, that post just put me in a quandary. I HAD to "like it" due to it's sheer brilliance with the timing.

BUT, I can already predict that someone like belichick is going to read through, see the post, see that I "like it" and jump up and say "Ah Ha, see ??? Demo wanted Brady to get hurt!!!"

employing absurdity to make a point normally ends up with people taking the post seriously around here.

Look Demosthenes I don't think Tebow fans are bad people I just believe that they are not Patriot fans but rather they are simply Tebow fans, which is fine, they can root for any team or any player for any reason they wish to, but as Tebow fans and not Patriot fans what they really want is to see him playing, and if he was traded to the Panthers tomorrow they would follow him to the Carolina fanbase just as they did Denver, NYJ, and now NE. On the other hand, using myself as an example, I am as big a fan of welker as there is in this forum, and wasn't happy at how he was treated by the team and many of it's fans, however I am a Patriot fan and always have been, and when Welker comes to town I will be cheering for him when introduced and then rooting for him to have the worst game of his career. Whereas i honestly believe that if Tebow were traded to carolina his fans would be rooting for the Panthers to win and Tebow to have the game of his life. These are my honest beliefs on it, I believe that tebow fans are Tebow fans first and foremost, which is what allows them to go from team to team year after year, instead of sticking with one team and following them.

If I am wrong then please explain how Tebow fans could be jets fans last year and Patriot fans this year, rather than just Tebow fans?
