Okay, So once again Ill try and say this slowly.

Of all the QB's who run the read option offense(newton, rg3, russel wilson, colin Kaepernic) tebows ypc is second to last, tebows ability to throw is dead last, tebows total wins is dead last.

"But but, tebow isnt a starter!"

Well you just brought up that he WAS a starter, so using those starter numbers hes not almost last in every category that matters.

Yes and you posted the numbers and they were all pretty close. And then if I remember correctly you threw in last year's Jet's numbers to try and make it seem worse. Got it you don't like him.

But don't come here pretending you have a clue in the world knowing anything that BB is thinking. You are whistling out of your butt when you pretend to know something and make yourself look dumb.

I dont think that i did throw in the jet numbers.

I think he ran the ball 4 times last year, the numbers were not really worth adding in.

I'm pretty sure both BB and McD knew this was Tebow's last shot in the NFL, and I think thats part of why they picked him up for the league minimum with zero guarantees. Nobody wanted Tebow, because everyone knows hes basically worthless as anything but a way to sell tickets to people who don't really care if their team wins or not, they are paying for a chance to see Tebow.

Everything you've just said is pure speculation. Speculation is fine until it's passed off as fact which goes on too much in this thread. I have no problem with you speculating, so long as you recognise it for what it is - your opinion and nothing more.

Right, then why didn't you refer to the Gregorian year 2000 as 2001? What year is it now in your system? Why would anyone other than an astronomer use this system? Why do you? Do you really think anyone is buying your BS?

Bull**** artist (but not a very good one) or just pathological liar? Which is it?

Century - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Astronomical year numbering, used by astronomers, includes a year zero (0). Consequently, the 1st century in these calendars may designate the years 0 to 99 as the 1st century, years 100 to 199 as the second etc. However, in order to regard 2000 as the first year of the 21st century according to the astronomical year numbering, the astronomical year 0 has to correspond to the Gregorian year 1 BC.

You really need to go back and read that wiki through so that you actually understand what it says.

The year 2001 is the year 2001 on either calendar. The only thing in question is which century it "belongs" to. Century is a man made classification.

Or put another way. Saturday is Saturday. Sunday is Sunday. That Jews see Saturday as the Sabbath and Christians observe it on Sunday doesn't change the days themselves.

This applies to all CE dates. BCE dates are the ones that are affected by the inclusion of 0.

Don't worry, I'm not charging for lessons today. This one is a freebie for you.

Tebow is a drastically different kind of runner than those other qbs. His ypc will be lower because he's not a break away guy who will burn you on the edge and run for a 60 yard TD. Hes a tough knows up the hill 3 yard and a cloud of dust runner who will almost always give you the hard necessary yards to keep the chains moving. Once again... your arguing against what even some of the most ardent haters will admit to... Tebow is a very good runner.

which part?

the part where nobody wanted him? Thats fact

Its a fact because:

Tebow makes league minimum, nothing guaranteed, no bonuses. Tebow is making So little here, that the Jets are actually paying more to the broncos as the final parts of the trade then what tebow would make for the duration of his contract here in new england.

Thats also a fact, not speculation.

The only speculation is that McD and BB think that this is his last chance in the NFL, and if he continues to play like he played on friday, that will inch close and closer to fact until hes cut.

I take it by the lack of a reply to my question that no one can name a single position on this team where Tebow would not be last on the depth chart. I double checked myself and couldn't come up with one. That being said, there is no way BB will keep Tebow and waste a roster spot. You only get 53 guys and during the course of the season you know damn well that injuries are going to hit you. Why waste a valuable spot on a 3rd string qb who can't throw?

It's not fact unless you had access to all 32 front offices. All that is known is that no team had signed him until such time as a team signed him. Anything more than that is speculation.

And if the moderators were a bit more active it would be removed.

Why are you ignoring the fact that BB is one of the greatest football minds and he thought he was worth signing?

Belichick is the GOAT imo but that doesn't mean he is infallible, and while the vast majority of his decisions are excellent he does make decisions that are at times head scratchers, and this is one of them. I see no reason at all to have Tebow on the roster if Edelman is on the team because Edelman can run a read option in practice and has done so in the past. The only other possible reason to keep him is if they plan on using fake punts extensively this year, short of that he is a wasted roster spot and should never see the field at QB under any circumstances.

Re: Ahhh...Sweet Infestation!!

There's been four Tebow threads that I've started since camp started. Three have been started by people whining about Tebow or his supporters.

SMH
Ok ok from what ive read in the past i take you as an honest broker along with Fixit. So maybe its not as bad as i perceived it to be. So unless it changes this is the last i post on the subject.

Back to the original topic... i belive BB signed Tebow because he saw him as a reclamation project, that he has talent that BB thinks he can bring out. And because Tebow is an all around good person that has a passion for the game,.

Belichick may not keep Tebow. But what if he does? If BB keeps him, there is a reason for it.

its probably because hes still mad that the media said there was zero chance he would sign tebow.

Nice logical and sound retort. smh

Well I didn't want to just come out and ask if you are a special needs person.

"3YPC and a cloud of dust" and "good runner" are opposites.

Yup... I'm sure that's it

I'm hoping that's sarcastic, but given the logic of your other arguments, you probably actually believe it.
