Per Mike Loyko, NEPatriotsDraft.com:
Per Mike Reiss, espnBoston:
Evan Landi Bio - GoUSFBulls.com
At first glance Brandon Ford would appear to be a better option than Landi at TE. Maybe he's just someone brought in to play on special teams for preseason games to keep others out of harm's way.
Right now I'm more curious about who was cut.
According to his agent the #Patriots have signed former USF TE Evan Landi. 6'3" 240. More of an H-Back type. Ran a 4.87 at pro day.
Per Mike Reiss, espnBoston:
Patriots making back-end roster moves, agree with South Florida TE/H-back Evan Landi of South Florida, per agent @DavidCanter.
Patriots will have to make a roster move to create room on 90-man roster. Evan Landi was previously w/ Buccaneers but was waived in June.
Patriots depth chart at TE: Rob Gronkowski (PUP), Jake Ballard, Zach Sudfeld, Daniel Fells, Michael Hoomanawanui, Evan Landi.
