I vote for Logan Ryan.

I watched #26 each play he was in there. He made one decent tackle, but for the life of me, I have no idea what he is doing as a 3rd round draft pick of the Patriots. Can someone please tell me what Belichick saw in this guy? (other than his alma mater).

Thought he had a bad game also, and they had him playing a lot. I think he's the one who got burned on the first third down in the Eagles first drive, but he was still playing into the fourth.

Also thought Tavon Wilson stunk. And of course, Tebow.

Tebow was dreadful but that doesn't alarm me as much as watching Logan Ryan and Tavon Wilson get taken to school.

Agree. I honestly don't think I've ever so immediately hated a draft pick as I do with Ryan. Bequette is the only one that even comes close. Even someone like Chung, who was a pick that I didn't especially like, I could see the upside and had some optimisim. I really just don't see what Ryan's supposed to bring to the table that will make him a successful NFL cornerback, though. On any level.

Tavon was bad too, which is more disappointing, in a way, since I was hoping for good things from him. Tebow and Mallett were both notably bad as well, but I pretty much expected that from both of them. Admittedly, in Mallett's case we may just be used to way too high of a standard at QB, because compared to Brady, it was jarring to see how consistently he failed at hitting his receivers in stride.

3. Tavon Wilson
2. Steve Gregory
1. Tim Tebow

Quite concerning that 2 of the 3 are DBs that are probably up towards the top of the depth chart, Logan Ryan & Maquice Cole just miss out on making the list.

I gotta say Tim Tebow on this one.

I would like to see how Logan Ryan performs with our Starters before I cast judgement. Atleast he's not a waste of space like Glass-I Dowling.

1) Tebow
2) Tebow
3) Tebow

I don't really get all the Ryan hate.

My vote goes to Tebow.

Tebow, Ryan, Cole, Gregory, T. Wilson, Gostkowski were all thoroughly unimpressive. Unfortunately, every single one of them has a very good shot at making the final roster. The team can't feel too good about that.

There is a reason there was a lot of head scratching when the Pats chose Tavon Wilson. He blows.

What on earth are you talking about?

Wasn't just Bill, of all the guys picked in the first three rounds, Ryan was the one who went closest to his projected value.

This is supposed to be good news?

BTW, I would think that Dobson was considered worth the pick at the time, even we had our own favorites.

No need to be so condescending just because you disagree with me, which I assume you do because my post was clear enough. I think all of the players I mentioned had a bad game against the Eagles and have a pretty good chance at making the 53 man roster come September.

Tebow: third QB, plenty of teams carry three quarterbacks so he could easily make the team.

Ryan: lock as a third round rookie.

Cole: possibly the guy who makes the team if Dowling doesn't, possibly even if he does.

Gregory: one of the top safeties on the depth chart.

T. Wilson: second round pick last year who performed too well last year to give up on him because of a bad preseason.

Gostkowski: the only kicker on the roster.

Whether or not you think these players had a bad game is just your opinion.

Ghostkowski
Tebow
Spikes ..... I really hope he's not the solution on passing downs

I think this thread was a sneaky way to sart another Tim Tebow thread.:deadhorse:
