It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Edelman is one of the best punt returners in football, it's good to have him on the field again. He needs to stay healthy and be Amendola's backup. Amendola, Dobson, Boyce, Thomkins and Jenkins are ahead of him right now. Get to work Julian !

Given the events of last season, and all the Edelman praise, Edelman should be WR2 the moment he steps on the field.
Given the quality of our other receivers, Edelman might indeed be the #2 WR the moment that he steps on the field.
The haters won't like this type of stuff. Knock it off.Yeah, I was surprised to find out that Edelman is #4 all-time in yards per return (NFL Career Yards per Punt Return Leaders - Pro-Football-Reference.com) though he won't be on the NFL's official leaderboard until he gets three more returns (takes 75 returns to qualify and he only has 72).
(The official list is at Top 20 - Punt Return Average)

As an Edelman fan, I consider it absurd to think that Edelman can, or ever will, replace Welker's (receiving) production. That's simply not realistic. He needs to stay healthy, which he has never been able to do, to date. If he can do that, I believe between kick returns and receptions he can be a very valuable player on this team. But, it's a big if.I don't know if there is anyone who thinks Edelman is a bad punt returner. There are plenty of us who don't believe Edelman has shown the ability to adequately replace Welker's production but that makes perfect sense has he really hasn't shown that, but even with that said I and i would think pretty much everyone who has doubted him in that regard still want him to go out and have a great season, they could really use the production.
Edelman's comments after coming off the PUP list today: "Train's moving & I've got to catch up."
