No I would rather see him in green then in a Pats uniform, I think the Jets and Pats will both make a run at him, and I hope the Jets run the price up enough that the Pats wont sighn him, My guess is he will be a 49er next year

Adam Schefter just reported on NFL Network that the New York Jets will be making a serious run at Adalius Thomas. Mangini wants him to be the playmaker on this defense.

He mentioned no other teams and was specifically reporting it is the Jets making the move for Thomas.

The Pats could use Thomas (big need at LB), this just goes to show that I could be right about the Jets trying to run the price up to where the Pats will not want to sighn. The Jets could use Thomas also (big need at LB).

Thomas can play anywhere in the front 7, very versatile and fast.

I hope BB feels the same way as you.

As a Jet fan, seems to me that the Pats LB corp is getting a little long in the tooth, and is lacking in depth. JMHO.

Yes, he can play inside,outside, and is fast enough to cover tight ends.

Why wouldnt they? not only is he an OLB he can play DE and ILB, Do you remember Willie Mcginest? and all the looks they used with him? Thomas is just as good at pass rushing and even better in coverage because of his great speed. Im not saying he would but he has lined up at cb and safety so the coverage speed is there

You are giving yourself way too much credit if you think the Pats are concerned about what the Jets do. The 'worst case scenarios' for the Patriots involve their own roster, not looking over their shoulder at the Jets.

How about you come close to challenging for the division within a 4 year span before you assume the Patriots are bunkered up fearing who the Jets might sign.
