Kraft comments on Hernandez

Ill respectfully disagree. If you lost someone close to you and held no responsibility for it you'd be inclined to aid in that.

Guys with $40 mil contracts don't usually need to sell drugs, and don't cheat in $1200 a month dumps. Or at least not in my opinion.

The drug lifestyle isn't always about money and no proof he was selling, could be a buyer. As for cheating on his girl....nothing needs to be explained. BTW slight 'associates', club partners, dealers etc. are not close, from my experience and the evaluation of others. You make it seem as if Lloyd was his best friend. He met Lloyd through his girl, I would suspect Ortiz to be a longer time friend...of course he is ratting at a record pace.

No I get what you're saying buddy, I even wrote something similar to what you've said today another thread last week, link is below.

Aaron Hernandez Investigated in Two More Murders - Page 39 - New England Patriots Forums - PatsFans.com Patriots Fan Messageboard

My opinion has changed after reading this pre-draft letter and seeing some of the other things that have come to light. I no longer see him as kid who went the wrong way and didn't know how to get out. He seems to cold and calculating for that to be true in my opinion.

Yea but clearly he didn't write that letter, he just threw some bucks at a professional, get real this isn't Ted Bundy.

I see know reason for you to insult me? If you disagree with my opinion that is fine and certainly your right. We're adults in an online message board that have likely never met in person, you know nothing about me, my intelligence or my mental aptitude. Making a statement implying that I'm not sharp is very offensive to me, also it's against the forum rules. I have no intentions of reporting this post but you as a member should abide by them since you did agree to do so when signing up.

Regarding your belief that its good business to do what Hernandez did that is debatable, it shows weakness and desperation which teams could perceive as an indication that your draft stock is low on many other teams boards, basically he tipped his hand. More importantly its not smart business because it didn't work, the letter was sent to most teams I'm sure and yet teams still left him off their boards completely and we didn't select him till the 4th round.

Sorry for the triple post but this guy is a troll, wow dude he was only guilty of assuming you are not a lawyer at worst.

In some people's minds, Hernandez perhaps, the need and craving for excitement is greater than the need for decency and personal responsibility...

Money can make a person feel omnipotent, all of these rental cars, Ipads, smart phones and the other apartment can reinforce the beliefs..

Money corrupts, lots of money corrupts absolutely.. life can become a video game.

You're clearly bored. First if you read on you'd clearly see that I apologized for misunderstanding his post. Second never in my life in any forum have I been called a troll, never, ever.

Your post = Unnecessary, Invalid.

If you want to question or disagree with what I say that's fine, but don't call me out for something especially when 4 posts forward I apologized for it already.

I didn't say they were close. I still would think you'd care if one died. Especially if they were close enough for me to rent a suburban for.

As for everything else I think you've been watching to Scarface to often. B

The letter was designed to manipulate a team, that is a sociopathic trait. Nobody said he was Ted, why don't you read what a sociopath is, you clearly don't know the difference between that and a psychopath.

You do not have the skills to diagnose people based on limited information from the internet, very simply the letter was written so he could be drafted by a team..

FYI no one does...

A lot transpired from the time of that letter until June of this year... there seems to be a false belief that he scripted all of this, and from my view it spiraled out of control and it just happened...

That's is a fair assessment of the situation. You very well could be correct. I feel a little different now but my I shared a similar belief to yours initially. Reading some of the search warrant information I will admit I'm leaning back toward your opinion once again.

What manipulation took place? It's a pretty safe bet to assume that he passed those drug tests. Hernandez was trying to get drafted as high as possible and was willing to foot the bill for the tests in order to make that happen.

I guess I see the letter as an example or how Hernandez knew what buttons to push and how to say the right thing. Given his current predicament it's hard to believe what he wrote was his sincere intent.

And, again, if it meant a half million dollars, we'd all write the same thing. Was every word or your college essay brutally honest?

... and from my view it spiraled out of control and it just happened ...

I was with you until this. Traffic accidents "just happen." A guy picking up a friend/acquaintance/whatever, taking him to a dump, and murdering him is about as far away from "it just happened" as anything can be.

He set up and went through with an execution , it didn't "just happen." Hernandez is a cold blooded killer, period, and at a minimum he should spend the rest of his life in jail.

What's the maximum -- being buried in jail after he dies? Mass. does not have the death penalty.

Which leads to the conclusion that he really has nothing to plea-bargain for and a trial is likely no matter how hopeless it seems for him. Although, I suppose a second-degree murder conviction could carry the possibility of parole after a few decades.

Likely not. As I said I could be wrong the letter could of been genuine and a strategic business move. Seeing it now for the first I may be reading to much into it.

This whole discussion about if it was genuine or not is a moot point. He agreed to drug tests at a much higher rate than he otherwise would have been required to do.

Kraft isn't a fool. He knows Hernandez was desperate. It's not like it was a fluff letter of "please trust me, I swear I'm a good guy!"
