All I have to say is, for other fans of the other 3 AFC East teams, unfortunately for you, its not Tom Brady being questioned for murder.

Others now weighing in:

you did a couple of those memes wrong.

The first one should have been "I don't always watch Surveillance video, but when i do I destroy the whole system afterwards" and the ant eater should have been "**** you, I'm Aaron hernandez"

What I think is interesting is that apparently there has been an arrest warrant out for him for over a week now, and the cops still have not arrested him. Seems a little fishy, Can those unnamed sources please come forward and let us know whats going on?

Taking everything in my power not to start an "Explosive Diarrhea Details" thread at this point.

What I find interesting is it's Aaron Hernandez and 2 other men. do these guys have names other than Man #1 and Man #2 and any details on their association to the victim. I realize Aaron is at the center of it all, but there are other people. (for the media, I realize we'd be focused on Hernandez here in the forums).

The Drama goes on... and on.

The cops are starting to look like idiots.

Yeah, the cops are starting to look like idiots for trying to solve a murder and find evidence after a guy destroyed most of it.

Jesus, either Hernandez is guilty of murder or he isn't. He's definitely guilty of covering up. But some of you seem to not care if he killed anybody so long as the police look bad, because that's apparently more important.

Maybe Odin was shot with an invisible gun?

It is NOT a crime to destroy your own property. He destroyed whatever he destroyed BEFORE anyone showed up to talk to him. We do NOT know if he was even involved in this murder.

Hernandez may just have rented a car for his buddies who were coming up to visit. For all we know, he was the designated driver at whatever club they visited. He might have gotten pissed off at something or someone and just taken it out on his phone, etc.

The thing is, there are plausible reasons for him to do what he did. Everything we have so far is speculation.

Judging by the mass MSP Pilgrim to his house, I'd say all leads are leading to Hernandez having something to do with it (be it directly or indirectly). Otherwise, they would have left him alone days ago.

You can keep saying this, but it won't be true. Knowingly destroying evidence of a crime (even if it's your property) IS A CRIME.

Everything else could easily be coincidence ... if taken individually. But collectively?
 • Out with the victim
 • Left with the victim
 • Body dumped a mile away from the house
 • Hired cleaning service to scrub the house
 • Destroyed security system
 • Destroyed cell phone
 • And whatever evidence we don't know about yet, and there will be evidence that we don't know about.

Come on. It may or may not add up to murder, but to say he's not involved is ridiculous. Pretend it was a Jets player, instead. I'm sure you'd be all, "It's all easily explained away!"

Not so fast Perry Mason....
True it's all speculation but look at Federal law on Obstruction of justice in a case involving a guy who destroyed his hard drive before police had a chance to get a subpoena to examine it:

>> a recent decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit that involved an obstruction of justice charge brought under 18 U.S. Code § 1519, which provides as follows:

Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates . . . or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to . . . obstruct . . . the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States . . . shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.<<<

The case is U.S. v. Hicks, 2011 WL 2728353
------------------------

I'm not saying he was involved or not but destruction of property that you know may have evidential value to impede the po po seems to fit the elements of the crime as defined by statute and the courts....

Above is not legal advice, get your own attorney......

Well, thanks to the destruction of all that stuff that could either have provided evidence that he did get involved with the murder or has an alibi and therefore wasn't involved, we will probably NEVER know.

I think that is what pisses most people off about all this. So even if they can't prove anything and he walks away scott free, the court of public opininon will still remember all this and also remember the destroyed phone and surveillance system. He'd still be getting the OJ treatment from society.

Don't know if he will ever get the endorsements or the sweet contract he had again, or if he will even play again, but things DID work out well for Ray Lewis since his incident, so who knows.

...and it IS a crime to destroy your own property if it is deemed to be evidence of another crime.

Breaking news!!!!

Nothing was found in the water or the woods!

The cops are starting to look like idiots

Pond search yields “no evidence” | ProFootballTalk

Long term this is actually doing him a favor.

If every avenue is researched and exhausted, the idea of a "cover up" is harder to justify.

Naturally, that will not stop certain idiots (Steeler fans) from claiming cover up. it would help with the IQ in positive territory crowd.
