Titus Young Anyone?

What a waste. The kid had talent to be a #2/3 option if he got his head straight and worked on his football career. Instead, he's more than likely going to wash out and blow through his earnings in a three year period (if even that), then be back on the street. Big fan of his when he came out of Boise. Now I wouldn't touch him with a 150 foot pole.

Funny as it is, it's also quite sad that someone so young with so much ability has the audacity to just throw away so much money. It really is.

He has severe issues.

No thanks!

Good fit for the jets as two-way starter, team captain and player-coach.

It sounds like the kid has mental health issues....(see article in Profootballtalk where high school coach indicates he need help.) For his sake I hope he gets his issues under control. From what I have read he has not taken steps to get help and his problems seem to be spiralling out of contol. If it is a mental health issue and he gets himself in treatment - then yes take a look and impose conditions. But he seems to be a long way away from being ready and i wouldn't start to look until 2014

Young needs to recognise that he has a problem then ask for help first. It's a pointless exercise if he doesn't go through that process.

Has there ever been a good football player named Titus?

Seriously ... not a tight name at all.

Agreed - unfortunately I do not think the kid sees the issue yet

That's quite possibly the case. Many people with mental health issues don't realize they have a problem even when it's glaringly obvious to those around them. Hopefully someone who is close to him (if he even has someone close to him- meaning a true friend or family member that doesn't see him as a meal ticket) will at least open a discussion to bring the issue(s) up.

What a ****up. It's comical at this point.
