After peeling myself off the ground, I remembered: 6'4" 250 with a 41.5" vertical! And can cover and tackle.

I think we all got a little over-focused on "need positions." As a result, on Twitter there are football reporters and draftniks nationwide gushing over the Pats' incredibly great pick, while all the Patriots fans have "WHO???" conniptions.

Yup, I agree with both of you -- how did he slip under Pats Nation's radar? Another factor -- no mention (to my knowledge) that the Patriots worked him out or had him in for a visit. Either they saw enough on game tape/at the combine, or they did a very good job keeping their interest under wraps.

I absolutely hate seeing Arthur Brown to the Ratbirds. He's a bit undersized but is a phenomenal talent and team leader. I wanted him bad.

I was pretty focused in on Jamie Collins, myself, and I would've loved this Pick, 3 Years ago.

Maybe the influx of Armon Arrmstead & Jamie Collins signals a return to the 344??
