He now has a regular haircut and he wears sunglasses sometimes when it's sunny out? Is this correct? And this change is attributable to him being Brady's backup because Brady's head isn't shaved either and he too sometimes wears sunglasses?
To quote Sgt. Hulka....... "Lighten up Francis!"
He was just making a lighthearted joke about Mallets recent emulation of Brady's look.
Gotta do something to pass the time while there's no real news
So he doesn't look like coke snorting trailer trash anymore?
I dunno about coke. He looked more like the "hey, check out my meth lab" type to me.
I really believe he is going to be a top 10 QB in the NFL when he gets his chance.
Ouch. Big lug with no footwork, doesn't appear to have much flair/instinct for the game. His legs are about as weak as Bledsoe's. He'd need a Pro Bowler at every OL position to stay upright.
He's tall and he has a gun. That's about 15% of what a QB needs.
I wish the Browns still had the 2nd rounder this year, because I'd drive Mallett to the airport for that in return.
I'd take their 3rd pick this year and a conditional pick (2nd or 3rd round) next year and call it a day. Then waste a bunch of picks trying to get the next Colin Kapernick/Russel Wilson to be Brady's backup.
LOL @ the haters loving to hate.....
like brady was ever mobile or had leg strength
WTF does 'appears to not have much flair/instinct for the game' mean? whose arse did you pull that out of?
Before Brady's injury, he was very mobile within the pocket, not fast - but mobile. He never tripped over his big feet, and waited around to get poleaxed by defenders as Mallett has so far.
Brady is also a fine short yardage plunger into the line, something Bledsoe was pathetic at. Mallett moves and acts far more like Bledsoe than Brady in that regard.
I've seen every snap Mallett has taken, he doesn't seem to have much of a feel for the game. Feel free to disagree, what I wrote wasn't meant as an insult to you personally.
As far as what arse you got your own words from, I suppose it is your own.
Hater? I find one makes mistakes when one makes assumptions without checking them, Jack.

Jacked and pumped or just plain pumped?Mallett is way more pumped than when he first came here ...
Brady looks small when standing next to him. Hopefully he has a great pre season and opens some eyes.
