Nitpicking here but was there a new rule for Brady or was it a clarification of the palmer rule. Wikipedia states it was a clarification. I just get tired of hearing of new rules made for Brady when it isn't the case

Yeah, I suppose that's accurate. Brady's injury added an additional case in which a defender could violate the rule that was made after Palmer's injury.
